This is sort of a casting call of sorts.. I don't know if it's a "commission" because I'm not contacting any one person since I don't know who the best digital artists are on this site (I don't spend a lot of time in the art forums), and since at this point I don't know if I could afford to work out an amount to pay someone for doing artwork explicitly for me. But I am curious, nonetheless, to see who the most talented digital artists on this site are and see if any of them would be interested in doing some artwork "for me".
First thing I've always wanted to see was more of the '87 characters represented in the 1991 Impel card series. Well, I'm not sure if it was '91, but those trading cards are some of my favorite pieces of 'Joe nostalgia. Yet they didn't really properly cover the characters that I love the most. Sure, they have Fast Draw, Outback, Gung-Ho, and I think even Jinx. But their one portrayal of Falcon and Psyche Out I believe are both in their Super Sonic get-ups. Likewise for Law and Tunnel Rat, I believe. And there's no Sneak Peek or Chuckles! I don't remember Crazy Legs getting any love, either. I would love to see someone execute these characters in a card format the way they could have looked had they been included in the Impel series.
And if there is a serious artist on here interested in executing my other idea, it's not one I want to post out in the open for other people to snipe, because I personally find it unique and it's not something I've seen anyone else ever do, so please contact me directly if you're looking for some inspiration or you want to try to work out some kind of a price for a commission.
