inspired by ttt's awesome repaint of the retaliation cobra trooper, i turned one into an ig. only things i swapped were the webgear and helmet, both of which are from the black dg cobra trooper.

now that i see the pics i'm gonna touch up around his goggles.

I dig it, but I too will echo the cries for Gold and glory :D. Maybe just on the knee and arm armor? Otherwise I would love this over the current baby blue pegged offerings.

damn it all to hell, it is gold on his trim and arms and knees and legs. it's just my hobo ass cheap mix of silver, yellow, and brown.

it looks way more gold in person.
the flash on the camera makes it look more silver.
the sun was in my eyes.
the dog ate all my real gold paint.
it was hasblow's fault.

seriously, looking at this now it looks like total shit. i'm gonna fix up the goggles and face, dull cote the gloss red, touch up the trim, probably give him another coat of black all over. i was in a super hurry as i had to leave for work at 3:30 and really wanted to post it. stupid.

moral- spring for real gold paint and take your damn time. i never learn.
