G.I. Joe Ninja Dojo Set -REPACK

I came across a pretty nice find today. Check out this variant of the G.I Joe Ninja Dojo Set from the new G.I. Joe Retaliation wave 1.

The Roadblock and Beachhead are completely different than any others I've seen. Does anyone know more about this variation?

This variant of Roadblock doesn't look like The Rock. This one has a mustache instead of a goatee and is missing the black paint for a "Night Ops Raodblock." The face is not of the same mold as the normal Retaliation Roadblock figure.

Beachhead looks like a version of the original figure from the 1980's or 25th Anniversay line.

Kamakura doesn't have his hat on, but it is loose in the package.

Has anyone seen a set like this out there?

unless the back shows the figures in the package it's a repack(in most cases)

it's retalition kamakura
poc recondo with poc beachhead vest
and a 25th beachhead

Don't sweat it dude, we're pretty mean bastards here. Don't take it personally, because it'll GET personal soon enough.

You actually have a decent score: you got the Kamakura, which is the best figure of the pack, and a POC Recondo, who can be pretty hard to find. The 25th Beachhead is a toss-up, but if bought those figures on eBay, you'd be paying more AND you got the cool box and the accessories.

BTW, its been discussed that the new figures are significantly taller. Look at the gaps above the heads in the packing molds: it's a BIG difference, and those are even all ME figures!

It would help if you looked at the back of the box and compared the items. I'm not trying to defend the other tankers on here for being pricks.

But you only have five posts and recently there was a guy on eBay repacking Ret. stuff and calling it legit. I'm just saying it's hard to trust somebody with misinformation...either way welcome to the tank.

I love that everyone leaves the Kamakura figure in the repacks. I don't understand the love for that character at all. First of all, he's from Devil's Due. That's strike one. Secondly, he's the son of Wade Collins. Strike two. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand he's a ninja. Strike three. Plus, he never looks good in any form. They just need to delete that character.

It amazes me how some of these guys replace figures with figures that are better than what they took. In particular, that is the Ace from the 1997 Conquest. It isn't a very common figure. Not "rare", but less common and a nice figure at that. Of course thanks to Jon Chu, everyone is now a ninja including Ace.

The Recondo is a better figure than the Rockblock from that set. The repacker either had used his gear for some form of custom or did not understand that they lost out on the return. And the Kamakura is my favorite from the set. I was leary about him before I had him in hand, but he is the better of the three, even with the bland Beachheads articulation.
