So, in comparison to the Wave one Snake Eyes...this one is a masterpiece. This one has some nice detail that doesn't need to be brought out with a wash. The leather shoulder pads are nice, and add a great bit of extra detail. Along with the wave one version, his articulation is balls out. The accessories are finally what he deserves. He has a SMG that is the same mold as the one that came with Cobra Commander but in black.

An overall nice figure, but nothing that can't wait until March to get in hand.

I actually like this one now that I have seen it up close. Could you take a pick with the visor head from the poc commando version? That would let me know if I want it for cirtin or not.

The head sculpt looks much better than the first along with the accessories, but call me crazy, I preferred the wave 1 body sculpt over this one. The first one seems bulkier, and I much prefer the paint scheme. The overall black on this one is just boring and the odd brown neck pad thing isn't really helping.

I have been planning for this specific figure ever since the first ToyCon images showed up.
It's outrageous that thousands of these are just sitting in a warehouse! A CRIME, I SAY!!!!!!! ATTICA!!!!

This by far is the SE to have out of the Retaliation line. Just dig the wave 2 SE. To bad a lot of us have to wait til Feb./March.

I still don't know why Hasbro didn't plan on releasing movie accurate figures in the first wave instead.

They always seem to do this with every movie line they make. They place the most requested figures in later waves which never end up in stores because the stores cancel their orders after they end up with so many peg warmers from the earlier waves. (King Loki from the Thor movie line, and Iron Man 2 movie armored Whiplash figure along with the others from those waves are great examples of this.)

Now I know that since this was intended to be a Wave 2 figure it would have probably ended up in stores than if it were a Wave 4 figure, but still it should have been in Wave 1.

This is all now a moot point since it's been moved to March 2013 anyways, but still the theory behind it being in Wave 2 instead of Wave 1 is rediculous.

In any case this is the Snake Eyes figure I've been waiting for from the movie line ever since the first pics of his outfit from Retaliation was released.

I love the figure's sculpt, but I'm not sure if I like the brown on his shoulder's. If they are brown leather in the movie fine, but I would rather see them in black. The same goes with the grips on the handles of his swords. I'm not liking the beige color. I rather that they were black as well. Also I'm not sure if I'm liking the rifle case backpack with sword sheath thing they have going on there, but if it's movie accurate I'll deal with it.

All in all I really looking forward to this figure and I hope Hasbro will give us a nice Storm Shadow to go along with him.

I would also love to see a movie accurate Cobra Commander based off of that recent pic of him from Retaliation which has been floating around here lately.

2 things bug me about this figure wheres his extra seeth put his other sword on his back, sand brwon sword handles?

this one looks more screen accuate compared to first one

Yah, the brown part makes him look like he has a hunting jacket on where they have the brown pads on the shoulder area where the gun strap gets slung over. Other than that I think he looks really cool though.

Anyways...I didn't include photos of the zip line thing...because...that thing sucks.

I think this is a really cool figure! Of all the Retaliation figures we simply just have not seen the better ones yet. The Red Ninja and the Joe Trooper were cool but I think the best from this line still lies ahead.

thanks for the pics! By the pics i prefer this version over the wave 1 version. But next year when i get one in hand i will have a better judgement.

Wow, pretty cool that you were able to get him carded. I guess SE's bio pretty much points to him and Storm Shadow joining forces in the movie at some point. And I REALLY hope viperskingdom throws up a listing for that Firefly, I really like that figure.

It is screen accurate, down to the color of the sword handles. The reason he doesn't have an extra sheath for the other sword is that he only has 1 of those particular swords in the movie (the sword with the sandy colored handle). If they had added a sheath for it, it would detract from the accuracy, and you can easily just set aside the extra sword.

No go for me. Don't like it.

Definitely better than the wave 1 version. Not the definitive SE for me personally, but I may still get it.

Normally, I hate he huge knee pads that Hasbro seems to be incorporating into almost every figure these days. However, I think Wave 2 Ret: SE can use the knee pads for Wave 1 Ret: SE; just as something to break up the otherwise long thin and straight legs

What's great about this figure is it doesn't scream Ninja. I like the holster/sheath belt. Not sure what the extra backpack part represents but it must have to do with the movie. A simple head swap w/helmet could turn this into a completely new figure.

Meh...oh joy, another Snake Eyes...I love the character, but I'm Snake Eyes figured to death...you may as well have shown me another duke, as I'd be just as excited about it...as far as I'm concerned, the second Desert Strike POC Snake Eyes (1101) should have been the last, it was the best...here's an idea hasbro...if you want to boost sales, give the same 4 characters (Duke, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, CC) a break, quit putting them in every wave for a while and give us some of the characters we haven't seen in 25th style yet...or some variations of anyone but the "Core Four" (and not so many destro for a minute too)...and if hasbro is reading...the same can be said for Wolverine, Spider Man, and Iron Man in the Marvel U and Marvel Legends lines

Sorry I missed this.

It's for Gundamns from Kotobukiya. They're called Mechanical Chain Bases. There are a few different styles and they all interconnect.

I'd like to get a couple more, but they're on the pricey side these days.

I have no idea about the realease of Wave 2. I mean. im from Argentina and this week i founded great stuff at Capital City of Buenos Aires. A cult toy store inside a gallery brings Wave 1.
Iīve picked up Cobra Commander (Blue Version), Red Ninja, Dojo Set and Ninja Commando 4x4.
Today i come back for snake Eyes, Storm Shadow and Cobra Trooper that im going to open up in some minutes.
You canīt imagine how this costs in my Country.

I have no idea about the realease of Wave 2. I mean. im from Argentina and this week i founded great stuff at Capital City of Buenos Aires. A cult toy store inside a gallery brings Wave 1.

Nowadays moving foward is at least in a lot off minds, i think they must rock there or somewhere, but keep moving.
Today i rather have a good time, buying Retaliation toys (at least that ones), theyīre a great updated for some characters but not for duke heīs blooming away.

This figure looks pretty good, but also kind of short...i will definitely pick one up when i am able, but he is destined for a leg transplant.
