Young Justice - Anybody watching it?

I have been a fan of this show since the beginning. But the new direction that the writers have taken it to - Young Justice Invasion is just awesome!!!

I love watching Nightwing fight side by side with Tim Drake Robin. Also, I love how the Justice League plays into the story a lot more.

Love this show, first DC cartoon that I have followed episode to episode.

The time jump has not worked in my favor though, Kid Flash/Artemis, Shazam!, Batman/Superman barely in this season/less screen time for story reasons or whatever has annoyed me a little bit, hopefully the second half of the season has them all back again. Also Superboy hasn't Hulked out in a while which makes me like him less. Upside is Nightwing's fight scenes are awesome. And Cheshire is definitely my favorite female character in any cartoon, plus it helps that she's voiced by Kelly Hu... Mmmm... Kelly Hu...

I have been a fan since the beginning, I love the the way it's put together. It all just meshes well, the characters are all used wisely, not just thrown in for the hell of it. The story has been great so far, I like that it actually keeps me guessing.

At first I figured the show would be like Cartoon Networks Teen Titans, but with better animation and an updated cast. I was wrong. The tone is very serious, almost too serious for my younger children. The cast is great, the storytelling fantastic, and the longer story arcs build and create more questions. I was very confused after the 5 year jump. They have been slowly filling in the gaps are the season has gone on like the Superboy Miss Martian relationship. Would like them to get into who Mal Duncan is and Lagoon Boy. Rocket and BumbleBee? Do miss Kid Flash and Artemis (felt like I was just getting to know her). I was starting to believe Aqualad had gone rogue. I have really liked the Avengers and the new Thundercats, but Young Justice is so much better.

Loved the Flash/ Impulse episode. I had no idea Flash (Barry Allen) was a lot faster than Kid Flash (Wally West).

Also, now that they found the original Speedy...what's gonna happen to "Clone" Red Arrow?

I am also loving the Aqua Lad/ Black Manta plot line.

I loved the first season, but haven't had the chance to get into the second. It sits in my DVR waiting. I don't know if it's the five year jump, or the fact that I've been out of the loop, but I am having trouble mustering the will to turn it on.

It's a great show, but the five year jump thing really took some getting used to. Especially since they've revealed very little information about a lot of things in the show, like who Lagoon Boy is, how he and Ms. Martian ended up together, how Blue Beetle ended up on the team, etc. they just revealed how Superboy and Ms. Martian split on the last episode or two.

there is still one thing that bugs the crap out of me though. how is it that five years after the events of the season 1 finale, they still don't know what happened? I'm really surprised it's taken that long and Batman still doesn't know. I thought he was so smart there was nothing that would escape his massive intellect. Perhaps he is fallible after all. lol.

I was shocked. and Superboy actually said that he couldn't hear her heartbeat. Not sure how they managed that, but I'm sure we'll find out at some point.

I think it's on hiatus right now (season break). Waiting to see where they take the Red Arrow/ Roy story and the "secret" infiltration of Aqua Lad.

As for the Batman thing..

They had 0 reason to look into space for the missing hours. Until the invasion and it's revelations, there was nothing to hint at those Leaguers being sent into space by Vandal Savage.

New season started last week and so far the first two episodes have been pretty good.

The Green Lantern new season also started and I must admit I found Guy Gardner annoying at first, but as the first episode went on, I like the direction it took.

That was a good twist to the story. The new theme story seems to be trying to distance itself more and more from the old show. I am looking forward to see where the new headquarters will be.
