So just throwing this out there to see peoples opinions. I would absolutely love to buy a ME reworked Tomahawk Helicopter that could be used with the 25th style figures. What do you think the odds are of this happening and on that same line what are the odds of them remaking a H.A.V.O.C 30th style.

At this point, I'd just like to see more figures.

I would like to see more updated playsets. I figure those are easier to do with alot less tooling to get the ME figures to fit. Playsets like the Alpha Checkpoint, Cobra Bunker, etc.

There is a few fan favs that the collectors club should put up for pre-order with order requirements. For example: If 1500 Cobra Ferrets were pre paid, they would go into production. If 1500 isn't reached by x date then all the money is refunded. Personally I would buy at least 6 Ferrets.

If the club offered any of the following items I would join:

Ferret,
Tomahawk
HAVOC
Whale
Flagg
Hydrafoil
Mirage
Dragonfly
Thunder Machine

I dont think it will ever happen cos all of the tooling needs to be done an most collectors will wait to go on sale therefore hasbro not making proffit.

Anything can happen. Never say never. I voted 50-50. either it will or it won't. went with the safe pick.

Maybe for the 50th GI joe anniversary.

I really wish a few 3rd party producers would make some Joe stuff like they have for TF...I mean for crying out loud there is like 3 companies competing for 3rd party Devastator sales...they would make a killing with a few Joe items.

i would buy one right away and also hasbro makes a profit no matter what as the stores buy from them
it's the stores who lose money when things go on sale

Will never happen. This is the 30th anniversary and retaliation toy delay has sunk that battleship...too soon?

The tactical battle platform is the obvious choice

After seeing the SKystriker come out, I wouldn't be surprised if they did end up making it.

TBP is a good option, minimal parts and such, simple paint apps it could go for 24.99 in bucket loads...be cool to expand on it to make multiple connect together to make a bigger platofrm with various gun/missile/tactical operations centers/refuling ports on each part to give it some variety..make expand into a huge Oil Platform or off shore research facility...the possibilities are endless!

I'd love a Tomahawk! I'd totally buy one. But I think Lindsay Lohan has a better chance of cleaning up than we do of getting a new Tomahawk.

I would even settle for connecting the old ones together. I was thinking the same thing about the original headquarters how if you and a buddy had the same playset you should be able to connect them together some how.

If the Skystriker met/exceeded Hasbro's expectations it might be possible. Although, I don't think it will happen anytime soon. However, if the Skystriker was a disappointment then there is no way in hell we will ever see one.

As much as we want it to happen, it won't. The self warming of the Skystriker will kill any more moderately sized releases of toys. What happened to that Avengers air carrier? That should be out by now. Big vehicles just are not profitable.

I don think it ever really shelf warmed, definelty not like Artic Destro or 25th Buzzer/Wild Bill, I know several time s I went back for more over the past months and sometimes there would be 2 sometimes 1 sometimes none and I saw a lot of times they had been restocked at multiple locations. They never had that many out there for the most part. Everywhere around me has no more now cept 1 TRU they have 5 but at 39.99 I bet they stay there for some time. Kenny22 needs to get some reports on those figures lol he is the only one who would be able to mention it.

I commented on this topic before and I would absolutely love to see a new retooled Tomahawk for the modern style Joes. It is my favorite Joe vehicle ever. The problem is, Hasbro has stated that the Tomahawk mold is among those molds that were either lost or destroyed. So Hasbro would pretty much have to go to ground zero and remake the whole chopper. That could get expensive, and I don't see them shelling out the money for that at this point. It is a shame too, because it could be an amazing update if done properly.

Fyi, the Skystriker was also one of those vehicles where the mold was destroyed, so that in of itself doesn't mean we will never see it. As I said earlier, I think what will determine whether we see anymore of those sized vehicles will ultimately depend how well the SS performed.

As far as I can tell the SS did sell well in my area. I saw both Super Targets restock multiple times.

Maybe for the 50th GI joe anniversary.

Not even then...the 50th release will be a virtual GI Joe collection. We'll pay big bucks for 3D renders of our favorite Joes and Cobras to enjoy on our iPad 21

True, but how many would wait until clearances hit before purchasing, thus negating any incentive Hasbro would have to invest that much money in new tooling.

Didn't the Skystriker finally clearance out at Target for $18? (though I never saw one at that price)

'Nuff said.

I'd rather have an Osprey-type troop transport. Something like the ROC Howler but large enough to hold 4-6 troops in the cargo area. And 1-2 pilots. And maybe a couple of gunners. I'd rather have something slightly-futuristic (like the Halo Falcon) than a simple helicopter.

And the suggestions for playsets that connect together is the way Hasbro should go with future playsets. Smaller ones ($20-25) that can connect together. Especially, if you could connect as many as you want to make really large bases. This connectivity and modularity would certainly be more appealing than a vehicle that folds open.

And to save money, the 3D renders will only have 5 points of articulation and the vehicle drivers will be in 2.5 D, half a dimension will be cut to keep vehicle costs down.

But to be a little clearer, i meant the 50th of the brand, 2014. Not to say we won't have horribly articulated CGI hologram figures by then, but I wasn't sure if you thought I meant ARAH's 50th.

Yes, you are right the Skystriker mold was one of the ones listed as lost/destroyed. And, Hasbro invested the money to give us the 30th Anniversary version. I would love to know how well it preformed. The problem is in my area( I can't speak for other places I don't live ) it sold really well at first. But, I have seen dozens of them on clearance at Target; some for as low as $10.48! So did it meet expectations for sales? I hope so.
I would dearly love to see a new modern Tomahawk. But, is Hasbro willing to invest the money in making a new mold? Only time will tell.
