The thing about those BATS is that they are just repaints. Grab some 25th BATS, spend some time getting the colors matched once you get your one from the set and blam-o! just paint away until you run out of BATS!

I think that I will likely do that in order to have a set of 6 - the would be drivers of the Constructicon vehicle modes!

That wont work...these are too cool not to have officially full blown molded ones...in mass...from hasbro....I am not sacrificing my BATS ranks to make these lol...this is just like the nano-bat...they can repaint it all day long and remold it in a million color variations...and I will buy everyone...at least 10 of each type at that....you can never have enough bats...especially tehse devestator bats...

I can't decide if I want this or not. As someone said above, the Starscream was a no brainer. The Destro does not look that great, and the B.A.T. I can make with paint. I think I will eventually pass and just get JINX's.

If they stick with the same ratios as they had with Stars Striker last year, then it will only be one per badge, so you will need someone to wait in line with you.

I didn't really care for this when it was first unveiled, but over time it's really grown on me. Hopefully I'll be able to snag at least one, though it's a lower priority than some of Hasbro's other SDCC exclusives for me (Both Jinxes, the MU and ML 3-packs).

It irritates me we get things like the Ghost Hawk II, those stupid ninja cycles that are rotting already everywhere...that lame Duke figure....another water moccasin repaint...in wave 1 of Retalaition yet all of the con exclusives this year BLOW away all retail/online offerings currently available form Hasbro...why stuff like this can't be on the shelf is insulting or offered for the rest of the year...why does everything that is new, cool design and awesome like this set, the jinx's and then the Oktober guard have to be made in such small quantities they will never reach most of the fans? Retail continues to get the junk and of course it wont sell so they always have that excuse and then they get so gun shy on it...they don't want anymore... :( its maddening...either $200 a figure for rare under produced Devestator Bats (need 6 so that going to cost me $1200 lol) or spend $10 a figure on army build retalaition Dukes becuase that sthe best they can offer retail...oh the quandary...

If you have single day badges then this is true, but if you have a four day badge you can only buy one.

I plan on repainting my son's Bruder construction vehicles once he gets tired of them. I have the dump truck, bulldozer, crane, and cement mixer - need the front end loader and excavator.

all they will need is a wash, coat or two of paint, and a little TLC in the form of some decals!

Like with the StarScream last year, I really like the box artwork. I chased after last year's because it was the Skystriker and though altered from the original was close enough for me. This Hisstank is too far removed from the classic Hiss and not to my liking. Destro looks pretty cool but the big win is the 1/18 scale Bombbox Soundwave.

Yeah I think they got thier wires crossed when they developed it for the SDCC. I wodner what came first the retail version or the SDCC version..I liek to think they use SDCC to show case new vehcile modls kind alike they did with the Starstriker they did last eyar now. Like reveal the new body style at SDCC and then have a mass released retail version. This hiss makes better sense in this design as Shockwave/future tank then it does compared to the retalaition line one as an avatar of the on screen movie versions...which is a far cry from those...

I'd love to have one of these, hell I'd probably buy multiples if it were in stores...I just can't afford to go cross country to a convention to get one...and I won't let myself get raped trying to find one on ebay...hasbro might do better in retail if they could actually get the stores to stock their product...I gave up on their Marvel Universe line (some carded, but mostly loose M.U. figs for sale by the way) because they never have them in stock anywhere (same situation is going on with the GI Joes)...I'd give up on GI Joe, but it's my main vice as far as figure collecting goes...they just make it harder and more expensive to find them...

I liked last years Sky Striker better than this years current Hisstank but, I love the fact that you get two figures with this years offering. So they both have their strong points, so I’ll try to snag one.
