I've been working on these for awhile now and some have been finished since the beggining of the year but it hasn't been nice enough outside to take them all down to the beach for some "desert" pics untill today.

Wow that's impressive man! I love the desert theme and what you did is incredible. If you don't mind me asking, what color/brand paint did you use for your vehicles; the light and dark brown colors. They match perfectly and that dark brown is a WIN!

Well, I started out using Krylon Ultra Flat Khaki and Krylon Ultra Flat Brown. I did the STUNs, CAT, Stinger, HISS and Bivouac in them before running out of my supply I picked up from Walmart.

I went back to get more for the rest of the stuff and now they only have the colors in Rust-Oleum Specialty Camouflage Ultra Flat Khaki & Ultra Flat Earth Brown. They are very very close to exact match with the Krylon colors but the Rust-Oleum Earth Brown is a bit darker than the Krylon Brown.

The Krylon sprays are much easier to use as well, not really liking the Rust-Oleum spray much, especially for the figures. The Rust-Oleum just doesn't seem to be as user friendly as the Krylon is.

Wow, amazing! I particularly love the dog handler, bivouac and red barrels on the LAWs laser. Nice uniform color scheme on all the vehicles.

How long did it take to complete this awesome collection?

Not sure, some I've had sitting all in pieces wondering what to do with them for about a year or 2 now and the others have been purchased in various condition since January/February and stripped down and painted up, found missing parts here and on ebay and stickers arrived from cobrastickers last week to finish them off.

I'm still thinking about doing more though, especially Mambas, Stingers, CATs and some other stuff. These colors just seem to go on so smoothly and easy without trouble and they dry quick and look awesome. Now if I could just find a Ross that has about 100 of the Desert Cobra 7 packs still on clearance! :)

I love the COBRA desert theme, so this is perfection and a half. The Havoc and Conquests are impressive, but I think my favorite is the Trooper with the bazooka trooper vest. That's a minor adjustment that improves the figure vastly.
