Retaliation Cobra Commander is...

The single greatest version of Cobra Commander ever! Period! The blue version specifically is the coolest looking CC from any previous Joe-line. This is not an opinion, it's a fact. Sure he'd be cooler if his ankles could move, but even without the extra articulation he still looks amazing. People who bash this figure are wrong and should be put in special camps until the scientists can figure out what the hell is wrong with them.

Civil War CC isn't bad either (If you wanna kill Mccoys.). But still not as cool as Retaliation CC.

For me its several:

Retaliation blue CC
25th Battle Armor CC
Resolution blue CC

and..

my custom for a Sigma 6 CC hasbro didn't give us so I made one. These are the best CC version for me.

The points I like more...

Retaliation: the helmet and webgear
Battle armor: the armor off course
Resolution: the hall suit and gear
Sigma: overall everything specially the helmet also

Figure wise, the Resolute version is hands down the best.

I really like the Retaliation CC, but I like the black one better. I never really cared for the blue. I thought that, for a terrorist organization, the blue stood out way too much.

I think the Retaliation is the best version, followed closely by the Resolute one.

Retaliation CC is bad ass! Followed by the Sigma 6 version of CC. For me personally if Hasbro was to ever make a ME 3 3/4" Sigma 6 version it mite make the Retaliation CC go to second.

My thoughts? Pretty much the same as yours.

The figure really seems to flow nicely from head to toe. Articulation issues aside. He is still bad ass.

I do believe that the Retaliation CC is badass. There could be some minor changes made. Nothing a little combining with other CC parts couldn't fix. But I am very fond of the new CC helmet. For the record I am straight, but damn that's a nice looking helmet.

^^That looks awesome, goosetuber! I seem to recall a fabric cape from a Toy Biz magneto figure that had red inside trim and a metal wire (for poseability) that would look great for retal. CC (if one was willing to cut it up).

It's a dg cc with the retaliation head. The skirt is from the current star wars darth Vader with lame slashing Action feature. Legs are a bit short so I'm looking for some others. But had to post. Best part is no paint required!
