Over the weekend there was an accident. I was resetting my shelves; dusting them off and rearranging the figures that is. As I was working on the Cobra shelf, recklessly placing figures near the back while figures stood in the front rows, my wrist bumped the shelf above and sent the Joe team tumbling. It was so late at this point I needed to make dinner and just give up for the evening.
As of today the Joe team still hasn't been reset on their shelf, and that is what brought into question condensing all the lines (25th/30th, RoC, PoC, Res) into one and showing just the single best of each particular character. When it came to Mains though, there was only one to show and I never thought he was show worthy so I kept him hidden in the back.
While I am currently parting new customs and slowly breaking back into painting I figured it was time tweak the 25th Mainframe figure before I completely reset the Joe shelf. Give him the two tone grey outfit he had in the animated series. And, a new head and helmet to fix the horrid face the he had. I tried a few options and settle on the bearded Clutch head since it resembles his IDW appearances. In the end I do like how he turned out for a quick one night paint job and part swaps.
I also realize in the past my custom where presented with more pizzaz, a larger picture count, and typically a peak at who was coming next. I'll get back to that when they start to get more in-depth.
