Dollar SS's hands on Renegades SS??

Anyone brave enough to attempt this?

The original prototype of the Renegades Storm Shadow had black ninja half-gloves but the production figure is all white.

It always kinda bugged me....thought the black might make it "pop" a little more.

Well, the Dollar Store Stormy has black there.

I don't have it yet, and I've had bad luck with wrist pegs in the past.....just wondered if anyone else noticed this and had the same idea I had......and if so.....PICS??

So I finally decided to do this. Last night I carefully boiled and popped the hands off Renegades SS and Dollar General SS and switched them. Now Stormy has the black gloves like on the prototype.

The pic is blurry....but what do you guys think?

Idk, man. A ninja's "gloves" and forearm wrap is usually the same piece therefore making it the same color.

Paint his forearm fabric black and let's see how it turns out... :D

I'm just going by the original prototype. I thought it looked so much better and I was slightly disappointed that the actual figure had all white.

Now that I see it person I'm not so sure....

^pretty much this. I had a ninja outfit back in the '80s when it was all the rage.

Two of my friends and me used to do covert spy mission stuff on our neighbors. Never got caught. Good times, good times...

Looks good. If I had the dollar SS and enough balls to risk breaking the wrists, I would totally make that switch. The prototype image is what got me back into collecting.
