Really tough call, but having that dojo Rock/RB figure in my collection is awesome. Although, if I consider the fact that there is another great Rock/RB figure coming down the line, then I guess I will have to go with the red ninja from the 3-pack. Love the gear, and it's such a great mold.

It's a tough call. I have the two three-packs, plus the single carded Zartan and Joe Trooper and I really dig them all.

If Zartan had better articulation I would say him, but being that the Red Ninja is repaint of renegades SS. Plus the fact that he has just a little bit more articulation than SS he's my choice.

i had to give some love to the single carded storm shadow. that thing is an awesome ninja figure.

i love the red ninja, but he's a repaint anyways.

joe trooper was the only other option for me and i know he will get plenty of votes.

My favorite is not on that list: the Swamp Viper. Despite is crappy articulation he is my HISS Driver (not as a swamp trooper). I'll also give props to the dojo Beach Head. Despite his head sitting too high, I love the colors. And his vest is awesome and I'm sure I'll be using it alot in customs.

But as far as the list above, I'll say this: The basic cobra trooper really sets the tone for me, as I loved the original Cobra trooper and Officer figure back in the day, and while I am not crazy about the Retaliation Cobra Trooper, its head minus the helmet is excellent for kit bashing. So far re-painted it looks great on most POC Cobras. My fav is painting the light blue parts black and sticking it on the black DG Cobra Trooper. But as silly as these Retaliation figs are, he's prob the one I will buy the most.

I also like the black CC after I swapped out his legs with the DG CC ones. Easy swap and a more posable figure. Like Storm Shadow too.

As much as I dislike the Duke figure, I dislike Roadblock more with the gun permenantly in his hand. The Roadblock from the dojo set is far better and a nice surprise.

But the worst is Kamakura.

Storm Shadow for me. I didn't think I'd like him but once I got him out of the package he grew on me really fast. He's no renegades SS but from this line he's my favorite.

Cobra trooper for me, no arti-ankles, but dig the colors. Oh, and I forgot to mention the parachute, the parachute is the BEST accessory ever!

I had to go with Storm Shadow. That figure is a great update to the classic look, has great articulation and that slightly futuristic look. Zartan is a close second.

Retaliation Joe Trooper....both versions....tan and what I like to call, the "turncoat" variant for the blue trooper. Why "turncoat"?....cuz he's like a Cobra sympathizer/traitor with the all his blue-ness.....

The Joe Trooper is a great figure but I did take off his armor and put on 3 pack Beachhead's web gear, it looks much better that way.

Joe Trooper! I use the gold variety with the mohawk head as the captain in charge of the blue ones (in my area blue JT's are much more common; I've only found the gold one twice)

I really liked the Joe trooper! Just like the Zombie Viper and the Hazard Viper he is such a fun character! You can troop build him and do so many cool things with them. Its almost a tie with the Red Ninja! I am probably going to vote the black ninja best in the line!

The Joe trooper, while he does have bad ass gear, is just too plain for me. Red Ninja is kinda plain, too. But they are both good figures.

And what's with you guys picking figs that aren't from Wave 1 for this? Learn to follow directions!

(The worst figure would have to be the Awe Striker POS Snake Eyes - the saddest crappiest GI Joe figure of all time - and that's saying something!)

Joe Trooper by far. Red Ninja could've been a close second had it come with more weapons and accessories, like a backpack to store his swords, instead of the zipline stuff. Also, hands made of a more rigid material, he can barely hold his swords!

And no, the fact that wave 2 is fully articulated does NOT make up for this one. I like this costume much better.

Dojo RB is pretty awesome, the only thing I would change is getting rid of the arashikage mark on the chest, for some reason it really really bothers me. His vest mostly covers it up though.

Joe Trooper was an easy favorite for me. All these years looking at those awesome Halo figures and wishing they were 1:18. Now we have Joe Trooper. Sweet sci-fi sculpt, awesome gear, great articulation, tons of gear. If I thought ninja were cool, he might have competition, but between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, my Joeverse has one too many ninja already.

id say beach head hands down but going by the list the joe trooper is just very cool and the different ways you can outfit him...i mean the helmet the gas mask the pack the cape the helmetless head all the weapons...it's like they skimped on all the other to make him the best in the wave

i will defend the now two guys that picked duke buy saying i do like the look of the figure...the armor is cool yet still feels military in color and look...just the lack of articulation kills it off to me...i still bought it and i still like it over some of the others in the wave but how it's anyones favorite from the wave with that joe trooper and even storm shadow is beyond me
