I'm not a big fan of the ninja figures, but my local stores have a bunch in stock so I picked one up. What do you guys think its worth if anything besides retail prices or trade?

Right now, if you can find it at retail, that is basically the value of the figure. Besides, if your local store has a bunch? It generally means your market is well saturated and people probably aren't looking for it.
Considering how many different red ninjas we've gotten over the past 5 years (and that there are already two available in Retaliation), I don't foresee the figure increasing in value.

That's right. I said, "I ain't givin' you no tree-fitty, you goddamn Loch Ness Monster! Get your own goddamn money!"
Yes like the rest 10 bucks. The value of modern GI JOEs is like day trading.

Bought one for $9.99 and traded a Dg Cobra trooper for another. Looking to army build these cats, not resell them. You gotta be diligent in this hobby, they're out there. Also, saw a bunch at a few Targets but didn't have the coin to pull the trigger.

Im not trying to resell them for a profit. I was thinking they might be good for trades but didnt want to trade them for something that was worth more. I want the wolfhound driver but dont care for the vehicle, dunno if the driver is more valuable than the ninja. If i knew this thread would have generated sarcasm and hostility i never would have asked. Excuse me.

If you snatch up all the Ninjas for trade, you're not a scalper, but you are a hoarder, which is still pretty greedy. Do whatever you want, but you can't be selfish and then blame others for calling you selfish.
I saw a Red Ninja at K-Mart today, and didn't buy him so that someone who wanted him could. I know, crazy, right?

I've still got renegade Storm Shadows stinking up the pegs at my local walmart.

Worth less than prescription drugs. That's the racket you should get into.

To be fair guys, it will probably jump up big to $15 or so and then drop to $5 in a few years.
I'd say about 15 bucks for now. It seems to be one per case so I imagine them to settle at 25 or so when the supply dries up. After all it's a renegades ss repaint complete with kungfu grip.
The biggest difference is the red ninja doesn't come with weapon accessories. That was intentional, a grave mistake imo but one made to maintain the price of Renegades ss.

This sounds like the pirate mentality of the vendors I deal with at one of my jobs. It is worth what someone will pay. It's up to you how you live with yourself afterwards. Toys as antique dealing is an odd bird, a market of fad more than actual value due to all kinda production and marketiung factors (and the obvious "hot iron"). A strait answer from me: as of june 6th 2012, 5 bucks (which is what they all should be). COBRA!
I have been seeing quite a few at retail lately. I have two, and saw another two at a local Target.
they are going for $10-$12 bucks on eBay. There is no meat on that.

Man you guys are lucky you've hadthe option at retail to buy these. The few stores around me that did put out the movie line have sold out of ALL figures, no peg warmers here. I wanted a few Red Ninjas, one Joe Trooper and maybe Zartan but that ain't gonna happen until March. But to speculate I'd say in the end the Red Ninja will not be worth anymore than retail price. The value maybe a bit inflated right now due to the movie line been halted so everyone spazzed and hoarded (err, I mean purchased) every figure like Joe was going extinct.
