No Larry Hama @ Joe Con 2012 :(

This may or may not be a news flash, but as per "the man" himself (Larry Hama) he will NOT be attended this year's Joe Con in N.O. :(

He claims he had already accepted a prior engagement before the club contacted him, which apparently just recently w/ in the past couple of months.

Yet another FAIL of the CC, - good job. :(

That sucks because I went out and bought non joe comics to get signed that I really care nothing about otherwise. I guess I can't be too mad, because it isn't in the pdf I printed last month.

That's terrible news. Larry truly is the brightest spot of the con. Not saying the con isn't a blast but meeting Larry was the most memorable time for me. He is an amazing person that is always willing to talk about everything from Joes to Nick Fury to other artists in the comic world. Joe Club you have failed miserably on many things this year. This may not be quite as bad as the credit card fraud but it's still shitty.

Honestly, I am surprised Larry still attends. Rumor has it that the club screwed him over at least once before in regards to paying him. The man has to make a living and appearances are one way to do that.
