One fan really, really wants Donald Driver's cleat - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ewiQrH80xg)
Seriously if I was the kid's father I would've knocked this woman out. I don't condone hitting women but this one deserves at least a kick to the head.

Not sure about this one. I mean the cleat looked like it was headed for the fat ass woman and that's probably why she felt more like it should have been hers. But, yeah, a grown woman acting like a little kid wanting his shoe is pretty stupid and deserves a kick somewhere.

Wow! The kid just looked straight down after she yanked it away from him.

tbh, if it were someone you really liked, wouldn't you do the same?
Well, not necessarily act childish, but, if your favorite player threw something in your direction, would you just as easily hand it off to some kid?
This is a hard one....I wouldn't beat a kid down for something, but, if something was thrown in my general direction, I would do my best to get it.
Maybe not yank it out of some kid's hand....but it is hard to say.
My favorite player of all time is Steve Yzerman and if he had ever thrown a puck my way, damn right I would trample people for it.
Not saying there really is an excuse to be childish or practically rip something out of someone's hand, but, come on, gotta think of it from another angle....it would be hard to just let someone else have something that was thrown in your general direction if it were from someone you really, really admired.

I guess what I'm saying is why she would even put herself in that position alongside the kids. Maybe it's just me. I wouldn't mind getting something autographed and maybe take a picture. But, standing there like an awe struck teenie bopper is a bit too far for me.

Lol, I guess the woman just wanted it more. I mean, to yank it out of a kid's hands like that. She really put herself out there, and now there's a video of it and people are commenting and such. I don't know, maybe she was grabbing it for someone else, like a Make a Wish kid, sick at home or something. Anyways, I'm glad it looks like no one got hurt and I hope all involved are happy with the outcome.

I'll bet that kid isn't happy with the outcome.

Good on Donald Driver, bad on the woman who's name is going viral.

No. another adult, sure. But I've been in situations, home run at a Twins game for one, where I had the ball but I gave it to a child near me. I'm in a very fortunate place in life, so I realize things like this are nice for me, but for a child they are the world. I'm also proud to say my kids have seen me do things like this and have learned to do the same. My daughter this year, completely on her own, asked her friends to bring donations for our children's hospital instead of presents to her party. Kids watch what we do and learn from it.

Oh wow, then the kid IS happy with the end result. It's cool that they were able to catch it on camera so people could see what happend.
