Retalliation AWE Striker

Thanks to Cobrastickers, I have new stickers for my AWE Striker. Here are some new pics with a 5 man crew:

So, I am a fan of AWE Strikers. I feel that there's been too many and there was no reason to get this one, especially with that huge Arashikage logo up front.

Well, the one selling point was the stand at the back for the figure. Too bad they put that crappy grappling hook thing on it. I love the stickers how they warn you not to stand in front of vehicle while in operation and to watch your head when using the launcher...haha.

Anyways, I switched out the grappling gun. Unfortunately, I do not have a DTC Rhino anymore so I had to use the ROC one, which is a dark blue. :(

Oh well, I do have what I wanted but if anyone has an extra DTC RHINO gun, I'd love to trade for it so it'll be grey instead of bluish grey.

Neat. I've always liked the visual of the AWE Striker with an actual gunner handling the main weapon (à la the Navy's DPV (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v179/dltesterzfd/2012%20Leaving%20Proof%20content/last_stop_DPV.jpg)) instead of it being remote-controlled.

I like Rampage and the Drivers and the AWE. Glad I didn't sell my ROC Rhino. And you probably just sold another AWE, as I had planned to skip this one, but I like how a figure can stand on the back. Hasbro owes you one!

Thanks. The only reason I got this to do this mod was because I regret selling my first AWE Striker custom with the platform on the back.

I am doing something very similar with my awe striker! I am going to use Marauder mini guns on it. I like how yours has a pivot, though? What did you use? Also, it looks like you painted the hood, which I did also, to get rid of that arishakage crap. Why don't you paint the gun also?

I've not bought one single awe striker since 1986 until the retaliation one. I like it a lot!

I actually used alcohol to remove the logo and then placed the POC sticker from the Skystriker sheet to cover any little remnants that I may have missed.

The gun is from the ROC RHINO. The one that I sold was using the DTC Rhino's gun.

I really like this a lot more than the unmanned idea. Its a lot more realistic to me. I bought one of these for my sons birthday later this month. He will be 3, I know like he need s one at 3 years old. Surprisingly I gave hime my skystriker shortly after I bought it and he loves that thing. I don't think ill ever really have the space for to many vehicles, but it gives me an excuse to give em to my boy and be a kid again.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but since we don't need the 'camera' on the dash anymore, I treat it like a laser target designator now, which is why I used the sticker from the POC Vamp under there warning about the laser.

I was the guy that bought the original custom AWE Striker on Ebay years ago... it really is awesome. I've always wondered about that gun. Thanks for letting me know.
