Last i checked, he was asking like $1200 for that. The reserve should be pretty high.

Do you know what the seller does with items not reaching the reserve? I've seen a few items go without a met reserve never to resurface again. It's possible whomever he's selling these for (I'm fairly certain they aren't originally his) could be holding on to them, but wishful thinking says he may sell them to the high bidder for a negotiated price. It's worth looking into if you're serious about this piece.
