not a damn thing in sac at any kohls, plent of tf and sw junk. The Wal-mart on watt and elcamino in SAC had the new dvd sets, alas dusty had no web gear but i didnt need that one so i passed but they had pyramid of darkness and had a good quick kick and amidst the massive amounts of revisions there was a croc master, mutt junkyard, and tf duke (no wraiths or nothin else new) but they wouldnt match target despite showing the flyer thing so i passed and just bought the dvd set. Every other palce i went to refused prices matching as well without it being in the target ad so looks like places dont wanna take my money. But i did find a snow serpent, ninja ku, and BAT at target so gaffled them and picked up a wraith in a trade so i was happy.

Well, at least they're showing UP in the NorCal area.

I'm looking for both the DVD sets 3 & 4 because the ones I got from BBTS were both crap. Boxes were fine, but Dusty was missing his straps, and Quick Kick had tard eyes.

Not to mention the other stuff we've not seen yet...

I'm still trying to find the TRU 3-packs in store, not to mention Wave 6 CPs, etc. You know, everything pretty much since Wave 9.

The Kohls in Pleasant Hill had one BAT, one Parka Snake Eyes, and one Wrath (first time I've seen a Wave 10 on a peg!)

Anyways, has anyone come across the DVD sets 3 & 4?
I have yet to find these at retail in the Bay Area.

However, I did find Wave 10 this morning at 2 different Targets in San Jose.(found and bought 1 paratrooper, 1 mutt, 1 croc master - all at $4.99 each - nice!)

No problem Bro, I've got 2 sets already, 1 good one to open (just haven't gotten around to it, heh) and 1 that I'm planning to return once it makes it to retail so I can get a MISB set that's not all effed up.

Damn the Kohl's in the South Bay, they had nothing Joe-wise. Just a bunch of TFs and Star Wars, and kiddie books.

Looking forward to Wave 11 in stores, now that 10 is hitting! Only about a month and a half late to the game! Haha.

Picked up today at KOHLS/Santa Rosa Mutt,Crockmaster, Scrap I ron 2 pack, Hard Master 2 pack. There were a couple Tiger Force Duke's and about 6 of the 2 packs I just mentioned. I think its pretty sad that I have to make Kohls one of my stops now for joe's :)!

I bought the latest 2 packs with Scrap Iron and all at the Newpark TRU today. There was one set left when I left. Still no TRU wave 2 3 pack exclusives anywhere, and I went all around today too.

Where is TopNotch97? He was always helpful to me for finding stuff in the San Jose area, I think he lives near me... ish.

Wal-Mart in Mountain View has the Wave 6 revision case with Battle Armor CC, Bludd, V3 Snake Eyes, and an ass-ton of the regular peg-clingers. I'm starting to get sick of seeing TF Flint.

BTW, I have a spare Wraith if anyone wants him. He's the regular version, and I have 1 on card AND opened, so I approve him since I opened him. He surprised me how cool he is. Anyways, fair Target/Wal-Mart price/trade, as I got him off HTS for roughly $7. I'm looking for Vipers or Troopers w/o the yellow belts.

Also, I still have a spare revision Bludd and Flash, if anyone wants them, and a spare set of Target jets. I'm returning them in a few weeks if nobody bites from the Tank.

3 Target trips tonight, aaaand....

Found the Ultimate Battle Pack!

I apologize guys, when I was told there were "5" in stock, I rushed to the second Target (the first being my info-source on which Targets had what) only to find that the "5" in-stock weren't really there, and apparently weren't in the stock room. My intentions were to get a second one for the Tankers, but needless to say, there was only one that I ended up finding and seeing in person.

The first store told me there were 2 within 15 miles with 4-5 in stock, so I went to the one that I thought was the closer one. 15 miles later, I found out that the 5 in stock weren't on the floor, or in the stockroom.

Target #3 was the charm.

The guy at the second Target was super helpful though, and directed me to a nearby Target, and called and had them put it on hold for me. The Target I ended up getting it at had shitty service, and I had to go to 3 locations in the store before I found the "right" place where they were holding it (at the fitting room, makes sense right? I tried customer service first, then the toy department, finally the fitting rooms, where I was directed).

SO, before you head out, make sure you call the store and that they indeed have their eyes on them, because even though the DCPI may show that they're in stock, they may not be.

I got mine at the San Jose Capitol Target on Capital (dunno why the road is "Capital" but the store is called "Capitol" but that's not a typo). It was the last one, and I had them hold it for me and I rushed over to get it.

Here are the stores I was told DID have them though, based on the second store's intel:

San Jose Story Road
1750 Story Rd.

San Jose Central
2161 Monterey Hwy.

Newpark Mall
400 Newpark Mall
Newark, CA (again, not a typo, Newpark, in NewARK)

They have modern joes for 4.99 and what not? Which ones they have and what're prices?

No.. one vendor in there has the 25th Anny for $3.00 ranging from Revision SE w/White timber to Revision Flash. Tan AWE strikers, Rattlers..DVD Battle Packs..Vintage vehicles like the M.M.C in very nice shape for $50, W.H.A.L.E hovercraft sitting up on the shelf, (3) Vintage Python C.G's all for $25, Slaughter w Triple T for like $20 (maybe $10 i forget) The store itself has tons of 25th Foil carded figures, also Star Wars new and Old, Transformers New and vintage. Definetely a collectors hangout if your looking for vintage. I stopped driving around Northern Cali looking for figures when they got more Joe vendors setup.

Just got me the Ultimate Battle pack. Man, is that one huge ass box! 62 bucks is steep, but I really couldn't resist.

I went all over today and found that lots of Targets have them in the back stalk, as well as the Transformers two packs. Those look dam sweet too!

Oh, and I love the Joe singles being 4.99 a pop!

No kidding right? Way bigger than I expected.
Also, I found a B.A.T. the night I found the UBP, which got me ALMOST as excited, due to the fact that I found a B.A.T., in the wild, for $4.99. Combined with the UBP, I nearly shat myself.

I'm going out "hunting" in stealth mode with the not-wife today, I'm trying to sway her shopping ventures towards stores that could carry Joes. Fortunately, she loves Kohl's. Unfortunately, I have't found shit there yet.

It seems the second I think I've caught up, Hasbro unleashes more awesome and I'm back searching aimlessly in stores.

I only got 1 set of the Wave 6 CPs ordered from HTS, so I'm on the lookout for the 2 good ones (Scrap-Iron and Mainframe packs).

Heck, I'm thinking of getting 2 more Battle Packs. I went to various Targets that day and found they all have them in back stock. Plenty to go around. And just to give someone the idea of how big this UBP is, it comes one in a case. It first I thought it was two.

Both the Albany and Pleasant Hill Targets have the Ultimate Battle pack on the shelves today. They have it sitting on the same end cap as the $150 Millennium Falcon and other various Star Wars toys.

Haven't seen any new single figures pegged since Wave 9. Sheesh.

I saw the same thing with the UBPs at the Newpark Mall Target today. It's weird how they have it with the Star Wars products.

So, nothing single-pack wise, but at least the following is trickling into the area:

• Wal-Mart in Mountain View: DVD Pack Pyramid of Darkness
(box had a crease or I would have bought it to replace my shoddy Quick Kick MISB set)

• Target off San Mateo Bridge exit (Fashion Island?): 2 UBPs on an endcap

• K-Mart in Redwood City: 3 v2 SEs, 2 Battle Armor CCs, other revision waves.

Also, K-Mart has the Joe 5-pack from forever ago (the first one) on sale now for $20. Anyone needs them for custom fodder, or if you missed them the first time, that's not a bad price for 5 solid Joes. Sale said it would be through something like 12/5/2008 or something.

Other than that, Wal-Marts here are NOT ringing up the Comic Packs on sale. They're regular price at $9.88. Sale must be regional.

Yeah, found the Battle Pack with the Pyramid of Darkness. Not sure if it's #3 or #4, but it is in the South Bay. ONLY one I've seen though, didn't see the other from the case.

Wave 2/3 (one with Leatherneck) is also trickling in, slowly.

Still no sign of Wave 10 or 11 for me, or the new CPs. (Wave 6 or 7)

I have Wave 12 already from HTS, and have had both my sets (opener and carded) from Wave 10 for nearly a month or longer now.

I have a MOSC set and a set of the ones I wanna open on order from Hasbro, and their "estimated shipping date" still says 11/24. I've had them ordered for nearly 2 months now.

I can wait on the Eel and Airborne, but dammit, I want Zartan already. At least Wave 11 IS showing up somewhere nearby.

Yeah, I'm not going out on Black Friday. Good score on the Wave 11 and the new CPs.

I am getting a bit pissed with HTS. My Wave 11 has been ordered for over a month now, and new Wave 11 orders are shipping "within 1 business day", yet mine are still scheduled to ship 11/24. Which was days ago. I'm out of town in a few weeks, and I guess I can just get the Post Office to hold my deliveries, but I want my Wave 11 before I go out of town for 3 weeks.

Dude, that's just a normal California thing, I've found. I can't imagine on a crazy shopping day how much it escalates.

Back in NC, we never had to fight with parking EXCEPT during peak times at crazy-packed malls, such as the Day After- sales for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I can go to any mall or shopping center out here, no matter the time of day, and it's almost ALWAYS hard to find parking.

Sometimes the amount of parking is laughable. There's a few big stores that have maybe 20 parking spots outside. In downtown SF or SJ, I'd get it... Not outside the cities though.

The Target on Monterey has full shelves of joes.
It's all joes, though there was two IG Destros thrown in for good measure.
Not to mention all the Dukes and Hawks.
They also had two of the UBP if anyone is looking for them.
Just moved from Santa Clara to downtown SJ, and was driving around, and found that fancy shopping center with that Target, and that huge ass TRU, like 5 minutes away from my new place! Woo hoo.

Found nearly all of Wave 10 and 11 in the San Jose area today, EXCEPT the Wave 11 guys I really wanted: Zartan and Airborne.

If I'd gotten up early, I think I would have found them. Mountain View and Sunnyvale Targets/Wal-Mart had nada from either new wave.

The San Jose area Targets I went to all had remnants of 10 and 11. The TRU in Sunnyvale, and both in San Jose that I frequent had Wave 10 remnants. Several Glendas and Matt Trakkers (wait and see, those guys will warm pegs, I guarantee it).

The Wave 11 guys I did snag were 1 Trakker (I hate the guy, but I found a pretty good carded one, so he's my "ONE" Trakker, til my HTS order comes in. Whichever card is best, I'm keeping, and returning the other. I hate this guy. Really. Hate.) 2 Flints in Disguise (for Trooper purposes, not to use as Flint), and 2 Eels.

The ONLY guys I didn't see from Wave 10 or 11 were:

Mutt, Bazooka Trooper, variant Wraith, Zartan or Airborne.

If anyone on here has a Wave 11 Zartan who can meet me for a trade, I have quite a few figures to trade, on sealed card:

Target off Santa Teresa (in the mall), Target off Saratoga Road (is that Saratoga, or SJ? Not sure, in the mall, as well) and at the Target off Stevens Creek (maybe Cupertino, they're all in the SJ area.)

Target in Sunnyvale and Mountain View had squat. I'm dying for Zartan and Airborne, it's like they're laughing at me.

Hit up all of the stores in the Concord/Walnut Creek area this morning. Most stores had squat except for:
Pleasant Hill Target - Most of Wave 10 & 11. No Zartan or Airborne, though. Picked up another Matt Trakker. Why is everyone so down on this guy. He feels more like a part of GIJoe to me than Wraith does. I dunno.
Kmart in Concord (not the Pleasant Hill one next to Target. The one way out in the boonies.) - They had a couple Firebats and Awe Strikers for those who still need 'em. The old GIJoe 5 packs are $19.99 if ya didn't get 'em cheap at Ross.

The Pleasant Hill Target is storing the Ultimate Battle Packs in their overstock top shelves. They had four on the StarWars endcap and all these in overstock:

Next time there's a Target exclusive, despite KNOWING what will happen, I can guarantee you that I'll shit my pants, run out frantic til I find it, piss my girlfriend off, feel like I won the lottery, then see for weeks that they're just sitting on the shelves.

I've got a set that I'm returning this week before my Target receipt expires... I was hoarding them for a fellow Tanker, but it seems they're doing fine without me.

My girlfriend's been flying a lot for work, so I've had more free time. I've also made 5 customs this past week, and added details to a shit-ton of Joes or touched up factory-crap paint apps. It just helps that the gas is so cheap right now! :)

I had a GREAT haul today!
At Wal-Mart San Jose:I bought the #3,#4,#5 DVD battle packs(they only had 1 of each)
Target San Jose (Oakridge Mall):bought wave 11 figures: Cobra Eel, Zartan, and Airborne. I left Scarlett, Matt Trakker and Cobra Flint on the pegs.
Finally, it looks like new Joes are starting to arrive here in the Bay Area!

Well that's good, I didn't know there was a Wal-Mart in San Jose.
I thought it odd that the only one I could easily find was in Mountain View, and that one sucks.

I've got Friday off, I need to find this new Wal-Mart. Is it near downtown? I'm pretty familiar with San Jose outside of the city...

I would be all over finding Wave 11, but I (should, anyways) be getting my Wave 11 today from HTS. It finally shipped, from Industry, CA of all places.

The Walmart I went to is off Monterey Rd ( Near Hwy 101 and Blosom Hill Rd)

There is actually another Walmart in San Jose off Story Rd - it is somewhat near downtown off Highway 280 and 10th St.
I have had decent success at this Walmart in the past, but over the last 2 weeks it has been the same old peg warmers.

Walmart in Martinez had DVD packs #s 3 & 4. They still had a couple left (as of 3:30pm-ish.)

Found a lone Wave 11 Zartan today at the Pleasant Hill Target. Both the Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek Targets removed the UBPs from the sales floor. I know they couldn't have sold them all. Strange.

I love how they've spread the 12 figures they have over the 8 pegs.

I finally got my Wave 11 this past week from HTS (FINALLY!) and I snagged a few from the stores when I saw them here, and I have my Wave 12 complete, so I'm on the lookout for Wave 13.

At least we have confirmation that 13 is showing up in the NorCal area!

Saw a bunch of Glenda's, Zartans, and of course TG Duke warming the pegs up here in Santa Rosa area. No resolute as of yet. Still havent found any new dvd packs or vehicles. Has anyone found any TRU 3 packs(new) up in this area or the Extreme condiotions series? A big ol's goose egg up here in sonoma area.

Probably won't find the Extreme Conditions sets anywhere besides a comic shop or convention. They're sold exclusively online.

The comic shop near me has a set of each, in Sunnyvale. They had a separate set that they parted out, and I got the black desert Trooper, the Mine Detector Trooper, and the Desert Bludd. They were $9 each, but better than wasting a second set and paying for shipping.

No new 3-packs that I've seen, I've seen the Sharc, Firebat and DVD pack with Quick Kick, but nothing else new recently besides Wave 10 and 11 bits here and there.

When wave 12 and 13 will hit retail, I have no idea.

TRU at Winchester in SJ had the SRO2 Sea sets (2, I got 1, so 1 is left) and 2 IG packs, both of which I left in place.

Sunnyvale TRU had no SRO2 sets, but they did have a Bazooka Trooper and a TF Duke, for those still looking for them.

Nothing else exciting in my area other than that.
I'm still looking for the Air set for the green-jumpsuit Ace. If anyone wants the yellow diver or the astronaut-looking Deep Six from the sea set, let me know, cause I think I may not want them.

I used to somewhat live by the TRU in Sunnyvale, but have since moved to San Jose, and am about 5 minutes away from that new shopping center on Monterrey, which seems to have a giant TRU and Target, and always seem to have full shelves.

I stopped in the Redwood K-Mart, and it's like visiting a third-world-country if you ask me. I did find the Leatherneck vehicle pack, which I snagged for $12. There was an extra one left, if anyone is interested. Not a bad deal for a character I wouldn't have bought if not for it being on sale. I still want him in his regular green without Duke arms, but hey, that's not happening any time soon, right?

I just came back from the Martinez Walmart and found a lone, beat up Dreadnok Torch...which means Wave 13 has hit NorCal. Never even saw any Wave 12 on the shelves.

Is there anything different about the Snake Eyes that ships with Wave 13? They had one of these guys at Walmart, too, but just left it there. It looked just like the ol' commando SE. I'm thinking it's just a reissue as he's not packed in with the Internet Exclusive Wave 13 cases. His picture is shuffled with the other Wave 13s on back of the card, though. I dunno. Just wanna make sure I didn't let a new figure go...

Lots of Wave 11 at both Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill Targets. Haven't seen much in awhile. Glad to hear SRO Wave 2 is finally hitting NorCal. Still haven't found any of those, yet. Yup.

Hey Valkfan, nice to see you on here. I'm telling you, this sightings thread has just fueled my addiction to Joe even worse, but it's helped me acquire several figs from other helpful Tankers letting me know where the plastic crack had been sighted.

You completely missed the drama with the 50,000 California Tankers replying when they merged the 3 Cali threads into one giant flustercluck. Haha. It's fixed now, thank God.

Redwood City had them (a little drive, but there). The TRU at Winchester in San Jose had some of them this weekend. You may want to check the one on Blossom Hill Rd, I've had best luck there, although I can't say that I've spotted them.

Someone else mentioned finding them at the one in SJ on Monterrey. Check a few pages back perhaps. Good luck.

This weather blows. I've actually been in the mood to hunt with gas being down, and sorta eager for Wave 13, the new vehicles, Comic Packs (HOW are we 3 waves behind on the CPs? SERIOUSLY?)...

I DID find Wave 13, under my Christmas tree this morning! Haha. ALL except for BLOWTORCH! ARG!

My girlfriend got all 5 for me from HTS when I sent her the links, but by the time she ordered them, Blowtorch was sold out. Which irritates me, he's the only one from that wave I was wanting to open.

I think I'll get 2 of the Troopers as Guards, as they do look pretty cool. More like SWAT Troopers though. I want that Firefly backpack so I can give it to my custom Monkeywrench, but it's not worth it to find one to open, if you ask me. Who knows, if I find them in the wild, I may buy all of them to open.

IF anyone happens to find an extra BT in the south Bay area, can you do me a favor and pick up one for me, as he's the only one I'm missing? I'll either do a swap or pay $10 cash for him. Topnotch? :) Bueller?

Oh, for anyone looking at the Mountain View Target, don't bother. They cut back the shelves to TWO pegs for Joes. That's right 2 pegs, with CPs and single-packs miscellaneously shelved on the same pegs.

Retarded, but that store has always sucked anyways. I think I've found MAYBE 2 Joes there that I bought and was surprised to find. What HAVE I bought there?

Well, surprise, a Serpentor, a Buzzer, a Wild Bill, Hawk, Bazooka, and a Trooper. The biggest excitement? The Trooper, only because it was recently and the original 25th, single-carded one.

Big letdown there, but no surprise. They haven't gotten in any new Joes in months, and their stupid toy department is like 5 aisles of disarray. Boo.

Finished some last minute X-mas shopping and found the following in the Santa Rosa/Rohnert Park area. GI JOE AIR & SEA Commad sets, BLOWTORCH :) , Bazooka Trooper. No new vehicles, RESOLUTE Joes's or DVD sets. Saw alot of Flint in disguise and "Glenda" warming the pegs among the regulars. Seems like Torch may be on the list of peg warmers also. I haven't picked up anything yet, but I'm at least seeing more variety and product on the shelves. I actually saw fixed-arm Clutch and Breakers on the shelves, AND the Hard Master wave of CPs in store...

It was shocking to see "new" stuff on the pegs. No new vehicles or Wave 13 or newest CPs yet though, but definitely not the same revision waves and dusty vehicle sets I keep seeing in NorCal.

hey guys, sorry i havent been posting on the hisstank forums in a while, i got sucked into the transformers animated stuff haha. but its been slow for the tfa stuff, and the gi joe 25th stuff has been calling me back. lol

well, today i went target on colman and finally found a single carded destro! i also met another collector there, me and him talked for a little, pretty cool guy. he had a barbeque and a flash in his hands. but he put the two figures back, after we were done talking, so i picked them up after and bought them.

the figures they had were; 2 ig destros, a couple snowjobs, a couple spirits, a couple gung hos, a few cobra and tigerforce flints, a few tigerforce dukes, and also a few pilot scarletts.

they also had those target exclusive jets, i dont know which ones, but theyre big, silver, and "V" shaped.

if anyone sees resolute: duke, cc, or cobra trooper, in the san jose/milpitas please let me know, thanks.

Can confirm RESOLUTE 2 packs in Sonoma area. Found Tunnel Rat & Shockblast 2 pack in Rohnert Park Target, Found Resolute single cards Duke, CC, Cobra Trooper in Santa Rosa. A little disappointed in the cobra trooper, I dont get that GI JOE/COBRA feel. Awesome figure but it just doesnt fit with the rest. Happy Hunting!!

Yeah, I was trying it on a whim. The Mountain View one sucks ass even more, and those are both the 2 closest Targets. Go figure.

There are about 6-8 more UBPs at the Cupertino Target, all on sale for $44 and some change. I'm taking my $75 receipt back tomorrow and returning it. Not worth it for the sale price, but for $30 less, hell no I don't feel bad.

I'm still baffled by the Blowtorch being the lone survivor of the Wave 13 at the Target.

(Oh, and Deck, I got it with a gift card, so it wasn't MY money) :)

That's because the people I know that check that Target already have it >_<

Also be wary of waiting on those UBP to drop real low I know for a fact at least one of the local "dealers" are waiting for a drastic price drop to buy them all up and sell them for a profit. I won't ever be personally buying a UBP based on principle but I figured I' warn you guys.

That's a decent enough price for something so freaking big though, even if it is mostly repaints.

The Mountain View Target just keeps getting worse and worse.... I swear the number of toy aisles withers every other week.

i know, that place used to be on my list. but nowadays? meh.

Lots of Sr Ranking wave 2 packs at Santa Cruz TRU... Theree were more to the right... almost brings a tear to my eyes... so sad that these are finally hsowing up after I went through 4 TRU's an San Jose and here to track them down.... Also lots of Crimson packs and Greenshirts...

TRU in Sunnyvale has like 8 TF Dukes, and I laugh every time I see them. That guy sucks. Haha.

They also had a TON of the SRO2 sets. And I mean a freaking ton of them.

There was one lone Scrap Iron CP around noonish, I left it because there was a bent corner, but it's a good opener.

Also, if anyone needs the CC/Gung-Ho or the Deep Six/R&R CPs, I have 1 extra of each. $10 each, or else I'm going to return them to Wal-Mart in the next week or so. I bought them when I was in NC, but I just got my order in from SidDarth and the 2 he sent were in immaculate condition.

Haven't thought much about the conventions. If I go It'd be a last minute outta boredom thing. Wondercon has been so over crowded these last couple of years. I wish they would move it to the bigger Hall across the street.

I found some cutie GI Joe toys at the Walnut Creek Target. Wave 2 Combat Heroes and the Wave 1 Mighty Muggs. They had a lot of Rattlers and Conquests, too (8 of them I think) just trying to fill up empty shelf space.

January has been a slow month for GI Joes. Yup.

I almost bought a silver head pdd there for 50 bucks, but instead bought a Yamato Macross jet for the same price.

A lot of "other" dealers go out there too but theres a buncha scalper guys that have been showing up the last few years for the smaller shit. Still i have managed to find a few nice vintage things out there but what out for this one dude who shows up from time to time. Very shady and will not give deals period. wish eh woudl stop coming. Hope fully see some of you guys out there. Look for me.. I'll have a couple of jeeps loaded with 12 inch soldiers from 'nam and ww2 :)

Dudes, what is with the vehicles? When I was in NC over Christmas, the TRUs all had the vehicles, and the fixed-arm versions of Clutch, etc. I really wanted to replace my Duke-armed boxed Clutch and Breaker AND get an opener of Clutch with the fixed arms, but they're nowhere to be found here.

There are seriously no slots on any of the stores I go to anymore that have room for any vehicles.

Those 12" GI Barbies suck. Why do they mass-produce those damn things? I'm sure there are people like Deck who love them (no offense) but can't they take a look at things and go, hmm... those damned things don't move... Let's not produce as many?

I got "keem-em-boxed" sets of Wild Bill/Scrap Iron, Mainframe/Beachhead, and HM/SE CPs at the TRU off Blossom Hill yesterday... Sad thing is, at $12/CP, I think I can do better online, and the quality of the packaging was okay, but the figures inside all had SOME flaw... I kept the receipt, may be returning them. $38 for 3 CPs plus tax isn't any cheaper than buying them from HTS or BBTS WITH shipping and no discounts.

In other news, the Target at the mall off Blossom Hill/Santa Teresa (Oakridge Mall?) had DVD packs #3 and #4, but I didn't get either because the QuickKick box was sorta scratched up, and the Dusty set was missing the webgear (go figure). Both were good otherwise, which irritates me because I'm still looking for replacements of both for my MISB sets...

They're good openers... Well, minus the Dusty webgear. Other than that, that Target had 2 Flash figures and a bunch of Cobra Flints.

At the Cupertino Target, I just picked up a 25th-carded Duke, from Wave 4. I'm guessing it was a return, cause that suckers been out of circulation for about a year or so now.

Pretty decent card, it had a few of those round-mashed circles around the edges (seriously, WHAT DOES THAT?!?!) but other than that it was golden.

I was needing a few of those Wave 4 repacks to finish my MOSC single collection (still missing SS, Destro, GH, Roadblock and Scarlett single-carded from that wave on silver cards), so that helped out. I passed up on them all the first round they came out.

Cupertino Target had some Wave 4 reissues and remnants of the Cobra Troop-builder assortment on the new cards... I didn't get anything because all I want is the black-mask/red insignia Trooper (or 3) and 2 red ninjas, and there were none to be found.

There were a few Airbornes, Cobra Flints, Pilot Scarletts, 1 Air Trooper (I would have bought it, but I'm not painting anymore yellow gear to make them all match.), Wave 4 Duke (WHY did they not fix his arms on this release? Grrr. I would definitely buy that to replace my carded Duke... Instead, they just repackaged he same turd which nobody will buy.).

Also, saw a few Para-Vipers, and other Wave 12 remnants. 1 cartoon-Ripper if anyone wants him.

Mt. View Target had some "new" figures in... At least, they're not the SAME figures that have been there for months. I think they were collector returns, since they were 25th-carded figs, in moderate-but-not-great condition. I ALMOST bought the 2 silver-emblem troopers, but I'm trying to keep all my troopers with red logos. Otherwise, that store is still dead.

If anyone spots some red ninjas or black-mask/red-emblem-on-Wave-12-Troopers, I'll pay $10/each if you'll buy them and you're willing to meet up. PM me if interested. Thanks!

Also, Cupertino Target had 2 Dusty DVD packs (no gear) and 1 Quick Kick DVD pack, which I almost got, but this 5 year old kid and his parents were looking at Joes, and after I put it back down, he grabbed it and bought it. I was actually glad to see that. First time I've seen a kid buy a DVD pack, or any 25th Joes, for that matter.

I actually went and bought the 2 silver-sigil troopers at the Mt. View Target, so I can make my Officers silver-sigiled and my troops with red... Sigh.

Oh, and I got drenched. February in this area sucks.

was at a few stores today heres what i saw; Pices on star wars figures have jumped to 8.89 at target, wal-mart, k-mart is at 9.88. Joes are now 7.99 at k-mart, at target they are 7.74 for singles and cp's are anywhere from 10.99-12.88. i dread what the prices on movie suff is gonna be WHEN it actually hits.

Isaw some nasty price increases today. sw figures are anywhere from 7.89-9.89 for singles and i wont even mentionthe cp's for sw.single joes range anywhere from 6.89-8.89 and cps are now going from 10.99-12.89. Vehicles at target are still 14.99 thank god but at wal-mart (if they have any) and k-mart are 16.99 and above... I shudder to think of the retail costs for the movie stuff. :(

That's fine by me, the movie stuff's not my cup-o-Joe.

I'll be getting a few down the line that end up being classic guys in movie packaging (let's face it, they'll do it) or buying figures from Tankers who want the vehicles but not the figs... But other than the Night Raven (which I for one like) I don't want any vehicles AND figures enough to bother buying the vehicles.

If Wal-Mart ups their prices, then they've gotten rid of the one thing going for them as far as I'm concerned with Joes. I despise going in, but their prices were worth it. Not anymore.

Not a sighting but I figured this would be the best place to tell fellow NorCal tankers. Aint it cool news is reporting a rumor that friday night there will be a screening of Wathmen in Imax as a tie in to Wondercon. There isn't any info on how to get a pass yet. If anyone hears anything please let me know.

ToysRUs and Target in that fancy shopping center off Montery Rd seems to have had the wave in with the Red Mask Cobra Trooper, but I sadly grabbed one each from both stores....
Target has nothing new, and the TRU has one set each of the new 5 packs, and two sets of the new VvV DVD set, that Snake Eyes is almost worth it.
Vehicle wise, they got a Firebat if anyone is still looking for it.
There's a lone Dragonhawk there if anyone still was hoping to get to to mod it for 3 3/4th purposes.
Tru had a few newer CPs, along with the single carded Joes minus Snake Eyes from the first 5 pack.
There's also a cp on the shelf with only one figure in it, and that figure is a Stalker!!
wtf...lol.
Oh yeah, tons of Greenshirts and Segie sets as well.

I found the Eels at the San Leandro/Bayfair Target, they also had Matt Tracker and Zartan but I grabbed 2 more Para-Vipers instead. Then today I got my 3rd Cobra Diver X-Force Wolvie, Weapon X Wolvie Deadpool and a Spidey(for my brother)

Picked up Resolute comic packs at Matinez Walmart, Joe 5 pack at tru concord. Lots of para vipers, eels, bazooka troopers and more from that wave and the next at vacaville target.

Just wanted to chime in and say hello to my fellow collectors and to let everyone know that the Resolute 5-pack are out. There were 2 left at the Auburn Walmart and 1 at the Rancho Walmart(as of yesterday).

Marvel Universe and Wolverine Origins are out at most TRU's and some Wally's in the area but have been picked through.

Found the X-Men Origins: Wolverine figures tonight... Sunnyvale TRU. I honestly think I want the peg-warmers, and not the rest of this series.

I picked up Tiger Stripe Wolvie, "Logan" Wolvie (tank top and Jeans) and the Weapon X Wolverine. There's at least one or two of each left, plus a Sabretooth or 2, and the Commando Wolverine.

I saw the Deadpool last week, and Maverick, but their scale seems weird or something. I'm not a huge fan of them. Surprisingly, the best head sculpt I've found for the 3-3/4" Wolverine is the Logan head, which looked the worst in the press pics. I found one with great eyes, not all of them have good paint on them.

I'm a little miffed about my Weapon X, his shin has the foot peg torn through... Doesn't seem that section of the leg is that thick, and the peg either wore through when assembled, or there was a pit in the mold to begin with. Anyone else found that to be a problem?

Hello Nor cal hunters. I am located in the North Bay. If there is something someone needs badly, let me know. I don't seem to have trouble finding things in the Santa Rosa area. I'll be glad to pick up a treasure hunt for you. This worked well for me with a friend. Most of my collection is complete from networking with friends. The trouble in completeing a collection is getting a jump on the scalpers.
