Been cleaning out my parents basement and ran across these.
Been trying to research them, thought I'd ask the experts if I'm in the right ballpark.

The four loose guys are Baroness, Destro, GungHo, and Deep six
The new ones are Torpedo, Mutt, and Grunt.
Also found a shoebox full of parts, mostly missiles and bombs.
I had a ton of stuff back in the day, don't know if I'll find my vehicles or other figures or not.
Is ebay the best place to try and price/sell these? Thoughts and information is appreciated.

Are those holes punched where the pegs go through or is that the table?

Udisi, congrats on your find! Id say you should check ebay on the carded figures. The loose figures, unless complete, wont fetch much.
The same goes for the carded gobots, the carded warpath and the carded SW figure. If you're looking to make a profit, your best bet would be eBay unless you're interested in trading. Even then, id still check ebay for the current market value of each piece.
I hope this info helps. Congrats again on the find!

Great find. The carded stuff is nice, and I think you can definitely find interested buyers.

The cards are all punched. My mom bought them back in the day a misplaced them in boxes of junk.
I'm a video game and pinball collector mostly now, but been finding a bunch of stuff. see link if you wanna see the other stuff

I've been trying to figure the new joes out, and here's what I'm guessing is fair market value
Torpedo $150 ish
Grunt $250 ish
Mutt $300 ish
Looks like the loose guys are $10 each give or take.
does that sound right?
Also found some 60"s/70's 12in joes and stuff, but it appears people are either 3 3/4 guys or 12 in people not both.

Is that a straight-arm? A Very nice find indeed.

the old 12 inch joes are cool to have
Hell I'd be interested in that warpath, depending on how much you'd want for him.

1st thing I noticed. DAMN......
If you would have found those a few years ago..now they are still pricey, but not like what was happening awhile ago with ARAH carded joes.

The Grunt I believe is straight arm. has a 1982 copyright on it. looking at some release lists, I'd say everything I find will be 1985 and before. I had it tons, 2 sky strikers, WHALE, Bridge layer, couple flight pods, AWE, VAMP, Sky Hawk, Manta, rattler, APC, FANG,MOBAT. Trying to remember... I know I traded off most of my star wars figures and I may have done so with my joes, but they could also be in the basement.

just curious what are you looking for the carded cassettes, warpath and that prime?
udisi
05-26-2012, 06:49 PM
The cassettes was just a cardback, I found a bunch of starwars, joes, transformer, and go bot back cards. A lot of the joe cardbacks are cut, so the file cards gave to be around somewhere.
The only new transformer was the warpath so far. As for prices, I need to see find what a fair price is.(just found this stuff this week).

How many pictures of figures are on the back of the Grunt, 9 or 11? Are there any dents in the bubbles on the carded ones or any creases? I might be interested in that Torpedo if there isn't any damage to the card or bubble.

The Grunt has 11, it has a light crease running down the back and the right side of the bubble is pushed in a little.
The other 2 look pretty good, the mutt may have a little sticker residue.

My mom is a hoarder/collector of things. I've found 12 apple boxes full of scrap fabric already. She would pre buy toys for friends birthday parties or just for us kids on random occasions. She'd misplace them in the house and eventually, they'd find their way into a box in the basement. she never threw anything away. I've found receipts from 1968. I've found things in bags from stores that haven't existed in 20-30 years. EX: a circus world bag with the receipt from 1983, etc. Picture frames from 1981, etc, etc.

Nice find!! I picked up a Grunt MOC last year, but sadly not straight arm. I've been getting back into the 12 inch stuff lately and it is great...I see someone has the same Karate set on Ebay right now for $150.
and that was nice that your mom saved all this stuff. Most would have just chucked it lol.
