Anyone think CC is based off of X the Eliminator?

I was watching the old Birdman cartoons and found this one episode call "X the Eliminator". There was a villain who had a hood like CC. His voice was even idientical to CC's. Maybe the GI Joe creator was a fan of Birdman.

He could CC's dad/uncle(joking) lol.

Well putting bad guys in hoods is nothing new. I think it goes back to the hangman of feudal times, perhaps further.

He's talking about the 60s action cartoon that aired with Space Ghost, Galaxy Trio, Herculoids and a few other shows.

I find it more likely that Baron Zemo was the inspiration for X than X would be the inspiration for Cobra Commander.

I was only aware of HB: Attorney at law up till now. The two characters have similar voices and are masked, maybe they are.
