Hey guys. Here is a custom card I made for the GIJOE Collectors Club Copperhead. This has taken me about 45 hours spread out through a week and a half from about start to finish. This is actually my brothers birthday present this year....and he hasnt seen it yet. Let me know what you all think. Sam

Looks great. But how did you do it? Not sure if Hasbro would be pleased about it though related to copyright issues!!

As long as he doesn't try selling it in mass quantities and didn't claim it was an official Hasbro product there's no harm at all. Looks very good btw.

Yeah I don't see where he has anything to be concerned about.

I like the idea of having a action scene with said character on the back.I would take that over the coming soon boxes on the back.

I like it too, however I love the coming soon pics and couldn't imagine real cards not having them.

Hey, thanks guys. I had a blast making it, and I acutally let the cat out of the bag and showed it to my brother. I couldnt wait, and he loved it! Makes it all worth while.

I definitely made sure to put CUSTOM over the barcode so everybody who sees it knows its...well...a custom. I do that with all my custom cards I make.

The art on the front is mine, drawn and then painted in photoshop. I made the Cobra symbol in photoshop. The back is a compilation of images I just had to manipulate a little....like I had to recreate the front of the water moccasin...since the front is missing (that is where Copperheads window is on the original 1984 box art). I love it! absolutely fantastic! though, my only gripe is that you should have carded the figure with the helmet on instead of loose in the bubble.

Yeah, actually I did do that. However, I torn it open and made another one the next day. I realized that since I am sending this to my brother in another state, he would probably want to see what Copperheads face would look like unmasked. Most of the pictures online show him with his mask on. He told me tonight that he didnt care either way. But if he changes his mind, I can always print out another one. :)
