yep. Just got into sideshow last month and its killing me not to have that Firefly. I believe hes going for more because there is another snake eyes coming. Just a guess.

Storm Shaodw is going to get redone its inevitable...the first was not very good i sold him off...never looked back...all of the other cobras so far have been excellent. Only joes I recommend are Dusty, Beachhead and Stalker, the others have been not so good...I am betting theyll do some reboots of Flint and Duke again at some point as well.

I have SE v1 and SS. I'll buy more when they do Scarlett and Ripcord. These things are way too expensive for me to even try to collect them all, although I wish I could.

My favorites are Snake Eyes, Zartan, Storm Shadows, and Firefly.

I placed pre-orders on snake eyes and storm shadows, then canceled them originally, then had to go back and buy them off ebay, got them both for less than $220 each. Thankfully the first sideshow purchase I made was Firefly thru sideshow, so I didn't have to pay out the nose for that one. But I'm regretting not getting Beachhead, because now hes skyrocketing in price!

Always wanted to get into them, ended up getting a cobra officer on ebay and I was hooked. Found a cool guy selling a huge lot, made an offer, and now I have CC, Firefly, Dusty, Duke, Stalker, Red Ninja, Ninja Viper, Flint, Beach Head,and Cobra Sniper. With a Cobra Viper on the way. I love these guys, they are expensive but they really look awesome displayed.

im bout to get out of transformers havent bought in a while cause they quit w/ classics and short changed us on shockwave, soundwave and blitzwing as well as the insecticons (dumb asses) i have soooo many anyway, but joe is just better and sideshow FAR better. i have almost all of em and double vipers.

I just snagged a brand new Cobra desert sniper for $71, and Cobra Commander $86 off ebay, I've been on the fence with Cobra Commander, but at the price I won him for, I won't be too critical. I probably wouldn't have paid to much more for him. Would love to get a throne, and a couple of the other dioramas. I'm still looking to get Hawk, Flint, and Beachhead, I don't really care for all the other cobra officers and troopers, I have a regular cobra trooper, and now desert sniper, thats enough for those guys, I'm not to keen on the officers and red masks that much anyways. And I still don't have a ninja viper, but I'm not that concerned, maybe one day I'll nab one, but with the black ninja, and red ninja, i don't really feel the need to add anymore.

Its totally personal preference. I like things about each of them.
Rock n Roll - only if you can get the exclusive version, the original head is the weakest one Sideshow has done in my opinion.

Dusty - Awesome figure looks great, but i didnt like that he had a goatee, however Im over it now

Stalker - looks really cool IMO and I think he is/was giftcard eliable so you could pick him up at a "reasonable" price.

Duke - my first sideshow fig, nothing particularly amazing about him but a solid figure still.

Hawk - I think he looks great all geared up.

Beachhead - might be my favorite joe behind Snake-Eyes. Plus his cross-bow accessory is so cool.

Snake-Eyes - C'mon its f@#$ing SE.

Flint - my least favorite. I like the character but the figure just seems very meh to me. I only got him cause I had Duke and I brought Beachhead already and how can I have Duke and Beachhead but no Flint?

Cobra Troopers - cool when they came out but the price for them is too high now IMO.

Cobra Commander - I've messed with mine and given him the cape from the Crimson CC and turned it inside out and given Crimson CC the trenchcoat from reg CC... Ok I need to post pics to better explain.

Viper - Awesome and frustrating initially. This figure while really cool has one of the most annoying vest accoessories if you want to properly install it.

Red Ninja - Looks really nice however I am very much a fan of just a little bit of NInja in my GI Joe so I passed on Ninja viper and Black Dragon ninja.

Firefly - OK Firefly is without a doubt one of the coolest figures released in this line.

Zartan - buy him.

Storm Shadow - Ok Ive spent more on Storm shadow than any of the other figures. I've replaced his body, given him a couple of additional weapons. I also just ordered a white hoodie for him so I can... nevermind I need to post pics once I get home.

I been in since the first Snake-Eyes and I bought the exclusive version. I've since been able to secure every figure's exclusive edition and never looked back.

is it just me or does the vipers head look slightly too large for his body. I dont own him yet but the pictures really bother me.
Also need to pick up firefly.

I had Firefly for sale for a while and nobody bit. I think I was asking 170 if I remember right. Had it posted in my sig for a while but nothing happened. I ended up trading it to Ultra8294 for a desert Trooper and some cash. It's funny how just a few months later it's going crazy.

I love these things, but I still haven't gotten around to opening my Exclusive Hawk, Rock N Roll, or Viper.

Aside from Zartan, it's just a question of spending the time. Unlike Clone Troopers who are pretty much ready to go out of the box, you have to do a lot of work to make the Joe figures look right. Frankly, I'm somewhat intimidated by the Viper who I understand requires a lot of effort.
