They're the only one of the big 3 that didn't take a bailout. Looks like they're gonna make up for that with multiple lawsuits.

Good for them. Their product and its needs to be protected. About time all the asswipes selling illegal knockoff shit got cracked down on. I for one dont want to buy what I believe to be a REAL part only to find out its a POS fake.

Pfffff....who the hell would buy anything Ford/GM/Chrysler, anyway?
Buy a Honda or Toyota if you want a good car/truck!
Disclaimer: CT drives a Honda, and is an Engineer that works for a company that makes Toyota suspension components....

They won't give us any friggin' Toyota discounts!
Besides, I love Honda Civics! I've had 3 of 'em. What happened to those 3 Civics, you might ask?
1995 Civic EX - Drove it into a tree while wasted.
1996 Civic EX - Repo'd.
2004 Civic EX - Still have it, and it's paid off!

exactly. It's like someone comming up with some realistic Hasbro packaging and sculpts, then surreptitiously giving the figure only five-point articulation.......:D
The real controversy is the quash put on the subpoenas that would have been sent to the would-be defendents. I'm not quite sure what to think about it as I haven't seen any arguments.

My 86 Olds Cutlass is still running great after 150,000 miles on it. However my wife's 2000 Toyota Camry has 215,000 miles and has never had a problem. I actually work in a body shop that does work for 14 dealerships, everything from Mercedes and Maybach to Hyundai and Kia. So I have driven damn near every car under the sun. Honestly Audi makes the best car out there right now. But they are expensive. The new Hondas feel like garbage. They feel super cheap. Toyota is still the Asian leader but Hyundai (wait, what?) Is catching up and will pass them in quality. I can't believe I just said that.

Yeah, I read less-than-stellar reviews about the new Honda Civic. Seems like they've slipped a little recently.
...and you're right about Hyundai. They're getting better! I don't know if I see them passing Toyota or Honda, but they're improving for sure.

Sorry my Maine brother, but there isnt much, if anything, that outlasts a Jeep. My '99 is our DD and made by Chrysler. They are known as one of the most reliable, longest lasting, resilient, easiest and cheapest to maintain vehicles ever made. Those 4.0 I6 engines are known to go hundreds of thousands of miles with just oil changes. We owned a Camry prior to the Jeep, and Ill NEVER, EVVVVVVVEEERRRRRR own a Toyota AHGAIN!!!!!!!! Honestly, if someone gave me ANY kind of Toyota tomorrow Id put it up for sale as fast as I could and take the first decent offer. We had nothing but trouble with that piece of shit. Before that I owned 2 Olds. I never had a problem with either one of them that wasnt my own fault. They ran great, drove great and were cheap to maintain.
I currently have 2 Jeeps and a Chevy truck. All run great with minimal maintenance and when they do need something I can work on them easily and buy parts super cheap. Nobody could ever convince me to own anything else. And I have friends who are REAL Ford people. Same thing with their stuff.

Landrover?!?!?!? LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If youre rich, dont go REAL off-roading, want to pay SHITLOADS for parts and have the dealer do all the work, sure. Off the lot nothing touches Jeep, especially an XJ. NOTHING! My buddy finally wised up and sold his Discovery (one of the better Landrovers) and bought a built Jeep. He got sick of me pulling him out of every hole!!!!

Hahaha, it's all good.:D I was mainly talking trash about "American" cars. You could NOT get me to buy one! Chevy Cruze? Chrysler 200? Dodge Neon???? No f'n way! I would however buy a Cadillac CTS-V!
I don't really know about Jeeps, though. No one I know has one. '79-86 Chevy trucks are among my all-time favorites, though!

I kinda picture Land Rovers on the African savannah, rather than tearing through a mudhole...
