I liked it quite a bit, the animation was pretty good and the story had promise. I really liked how they integrated Sgt. savage into Joe canon featuring General Hawk and making references to Joe.
I made a Sgt Savage custom introducing him into my own Joeverse.

I know this was the "first episode" and because of that they have to set things up. However i think they repeated info a little too much in the 1st half.

I did like the CC cameo.

Loved everything about it. I was in 6th grade at the time, and started at an out of town new school. I was a little bummed about the whole thing, so my older brother and my mom picked it up and surprised me with it one day after school.

I flipped, cause I was really looking forward to the figures, and IIRC, it was the first thing out from the line. They didnt expect the reaction, as they thought I was looking forward to new Wildcats figures more.

Anywho, popped in the tape as soon as I got home, and right away I loved how the toon and even commercial felt more like 80's Joe after having gone through the beginning of the 90's day glow Joe stuff.

I really liked it, I watched the video so many times I think i broke mine, lol. I liked the animation and how they tied it to the ARAH line of figures. I would have like the figures more if they would have had the same type of articulation as the ARAH figures. I didnt mind the bigger size, it was just those stupid hip joints.

I did a search on YouTube a few years back and surprise someone had uploaded it, I only watched bits of it and remember Cobra Commander showing up via a video monitor.
