I have to say, the more interviews I see, the more I really like and respect the people involved in this movie. Everyone whose been interviewed just seems to really understand and respect G.I. Joe and just trying to make something successful and good. If success means Roadblock is a ninja I can accept that, and it doesn't hurt that the Rock just seems so genuine when he talks about playing the role and the character. I hope DJ Cotrona gets enough screen time though, because I going from this interview especially I get the feeling he tried to imbue a lot of Flint's classic attributes in his performance. I can't wait to see the movie and how things turn out, but so far the marketing is great.

This film...whether it stands or falls as a GI JOE picture...still has a lot going for it (more so than the first) just as a sheer action film...look at the first film's trailer then this film's trailer- back-to-back...and just as an ACTION film alone...it's blowing away the previous installment.
Whether the mythology and characters hold true like the cast says...I still think this film will be spectacle enough as a pure action film to really turn some heads.

...They are clearly lying about loving GIJoe. But, if they just shut up, and talk about the movie..It'll be fine.
I hate that Flint is just a side kick.

I am mega excited for this movie and can not wait for it, I think it will be a huge success!
Toys are looking good too, my kids are really excited by whats on offer, i know people are moaning about the toys a lot but with a bit less articulation i think they will be a bit more sturdy and play proof
I have noticed the 25th/me/poc type joes develope really loose joints very quickly!! Not sure if its the meterials or the design or what? even the hands seem to always drop weapons easily, the new toys may well be geared for that! I am sure if the film rocks like I think it will plenty of kids will get the toys and thereforre will generate more money for the franchise most of us here seem to love!
