And be on the lookout for broken tabs. That play set is notorious for having them.

That is the biggest pain in the butt, nothing is worse then the yellowing nightmare for joe collectors.

Base is awesome, but I think 50.00 is a more fair price point!.

Check for color of the base ...sometimes the grey fades out..

If it's complete and unbroken without yellowing, then that is a fair price. If you're patient, you can often nab good ones on eBay for much less than that.

If you are patient you will have no problem getting a nice one on eBay for much less you just have to keep your eyes on the auctions. I have sold a few for around $30 or $40

I paid 60 dollars for mine. Watch out for the jail door.that seems to be broke more often than not. Also, check out the condition of the flag stickers and the stickers on the computer screen.

I picked one up for $63 shipped complete / un-yellow about 3-4 years ago... adjust for inflation, you should be ok if you can get it for $80 shipped.

Check that jailcell though; that part is the fragile part.

i have 3 complete and 8 incomplete. i actually hate this thing. i even scored one for $25 from a local comic shop and hooked up a tanker last year for cost plus shipping.

i have my childhood one and i keep getting these things in lots, so much space.
