Feels kinda like a "money" Pit...

I didn't realize that it finally came out. Doesn't look too impressive.

It actually looks better once it's set up...but honestly it has me wondering why they even came out with this and then a little light bulb went off...modular sections to make a giant PIT.

I just buy any of the dioramas second hand. When they are $100 instead of $200 it does not feel like such a rip off. I think code red is on my list next. Already have check point and commander's throne.

Yeah that's the only one I am missing. I had to buy 2 Waypoints because my cat jumped on the shelf and knocked Timber off, but at least you can put them together to make it look more like a building.
Where do you get them second hand?

That does look nice with both sections. Glad it worked out.

Indeed. I'm still trying to figure out what makes two computer stands and a floor piece "The Pit", but I give them kudos for at least trying.

I think it being modular is pretty cool! I'd probably go for this if I had Hawk, but I'm a Cobra man!

I didnt realize these shipped??? I have one on flex pay, and had no type of notification of being billed or shipping date. Am I the only one...?

I think they should end the whole "environment" thing and focus on better portraits/head sculpts.

The only one I have is the Throne and Im ok with that. I personally dont have the space for to many dioramas in 1/6 scale. For those of you that can afford it and have the space my hat's off to you.

Environments are cool, but honestly, wouldn't everyone prefer some small scale vehicles? A Trouble Bubble? Zartans' Chamelion? A F.A.N.G chopper? It's probably a legal thing between Hasbro and Sideshow, but damn do I want a swamp skier...

same here. I just couldn't pass up a chance to own that amazing thing. The only other one I would consider is the Arashikage Temple, but I don't have room to even display it so it might never happen.

It's more of a "nobody would buy it" thing. 1/6th scale vehicles are HUGE. Even small ones which is a misnomer for this scale. I'd rather no vehicles, no environments and better figure designs.

I could only imagine how HUGE these would be, I know they would be awesome. Personally I have only been intriged by a couple of environments, the Ninja temple, Cobra throne, the rest for me have been easy passes. Although a fellow tanker did post some really amazing ones with the desert environment before.

I wish they'd make some of these same environments, but in 3 3/4" scale instead. I would hope that would bring the price down and increase sales as they would be opening up to so many more customers.

Yeah, I guess I didn't think of the practicality of scale! Cold cast porcelain is cheaper to cast in than injection moulded plastic. Just the parts for a Troulbe Bubble would cost crazy money. That being said though, there's enough dudes lined up to buy the Hot Toys batmobiles...

I agree, because they are not really making anything worthwhile or anything that really says GI Joe.The only worthy piece to get and makes sense is Cobra Commander's Throne..the rest are meh!
Sideshow already said that they are dramatically slowing down on environments (I believe because they are slow sellers)
Give us something GI Joe
Trouble Bubble
Watch Tower or bunker sets
Zartan's swamp skier
Stuff that makes sense

I pre-ordered and paid full plus they adjusted the ship date a few times. Was supposed to ship in the summer but they moved the Crimson Guards back. If you are on Flex Pay, it ships at the end of your Payment Schedule. Give them a call, they have the best CS in the business (despite what trolls on EB Mondo forums say).

agree. hire people that can make head sculpts on par with hot toys, no more "environments", and stop with the "exclusive" crap.
ps - Sideshow, have fun selling those standard Rock N Roll figures.
