Hey guys what's up? After listening to the WOJM SKO Special Edition today, and going through all the info and pictures, I thought that a thread to refresh people's mind and to discuss everything we like about it would be appropriate. The guys behind it are trying hard to get these out there! Share your thoughts on SKO here.

Why? What could possibly go wrong?

Could some one share the info and pictures link? I did not know SK OMEGA was showing pictures yet. All I have seen are some really generic mock ups and that goofy mad scientist lab from the 50's.

There was plenty of art shown here at the tank, not sure if you've seen it.

Well then, let's keep it positive. This thread is for positive discussion.

Podcast only news really doesn't help get the word out there. They should actually update their company website with news, pictures and progress reports. Also, show up at Toy Fair, SDCC, etc.

New parts, or more specifically new female parts for custom fodder. A man can dream.

Yeah, who knows when they may show up at a convention. We still have JoeCon, SDCC, NYCC, etc.

Do we really need a new SK Omega thread?

There's lots more but these are the better ones imo.
I think knowing that 1 of the 2 guys that were working on this are no longer working on it means that it's not going to happen anytime soon if at all. The plan was to launch the middle of 2011 (still not at retail). They were going to be at Toy Fair 2011 (a "scheduling conflict" ocurred). They would have the website up early 2011 (it's been coming soon since mid 2010). See a pattern?
The designs looked great but unfortunately that's all we have now. I would still love to see the line make it to retail, especially the vehicles, but the reality of it is you won't.

Hmm. Whatever happens, the designs are great, and the concept is awesome. And who said one of the guys wasn't working on it?

Yeah, I hadn't heard this either. I've kinda given up on it. I actually forget about it until a thread like this pops up. Woulda been sweet. I just checked the website and it says the same thing it's said for the last year. Oh well, such is life. Probably good for my wallet.

What they should do, or have done, is just worked on and released a couple figures first and then went from there. Trying to do a dozen figures and a few vehicles at once sounded too overwhelming and like too much could go wrong, which apparently did.

Ron Rudat stopped working on the line last year, not sure if Guy Cassady was still onboard.
Shin did. Read through all of the threads I linked above and you'll have all of the answers too. See, knowing is half the battle.

I hold out a small glimmer of hope that these products will see the light of day. More communication from their end could go a long way.

Any word yet? I listened to some pod cast over a year ago professing this line was coming out. Anyone, in the know on this?

It was going to be an o-ring style line right? I would have liked the vehicles/playsets, but probably would have passed on the figures.
