I got Shipwreck and wetsuit today and OMG did i love tearing open a S6 again.Ripping off the cover, untieing the twistties and enjoying a badass toy. I love Shipwreck now,all the tattoos,he can hold a knife like a pirate and he has a monkey....a fucking monkey. How awsome is that.Wetsuit has some really nice gear too.I like how they gave him a new setup rather than reuse the duke scuba gear.

If everything goes to plan, thanks to MrBlizter.I'll should be adding Leatherneck,Grandslam and High-tech to the rooster.Damn i miss this line.

AWESOME figures you picked up there, man! I've had Shipwreck for a while, but got Wet Suit about 2 weeks ago. Epic figure! I've hooked my Shipwreck up with Duke V1's blue jacket, kinda hard to get on, but makes him look bad ass! Shipwreck rocks! And he has a monkey! A monkey with a utility belt! Honestly, Sigma is my favourite Joe line.

Sigma 6 is without question my top Joe line. Atleast they ended on a high note, the Combat class were all badass. The Dark Ninja master is one i would recommend.

I just released i don't have a Duke. For whatever reason i never picked him up.Flint is my go to guy.

If i had to chose,it would be S6. Those damn things are indestructable. You could throw one across a parking lot and it wouldn't break.Do that with any modern joe.Thats why i loved S6 PLAYablity over DISplayablty.

Man I still love this line! Best innovation to happen to GI Joe in years! I recently added gliderpack Kamakura to my collection, neat but wish he had more stuff. The 1st Kamakura with a ton of weapons is the best one.

These figures aged well, joints still tight. Very durable, smoke all 12" Hasbro GI joe offerings and the weapons lockers were awesome too.

I forgot who it was but I have the TRU 3 pack with a navy SEAL in it who looks like Steven Segal.

I remember when I bought armored Duke because he looked like he was wearing Spartan armor from Halo. The 1st Duke and Paratrooper Duke are the best S6 Duke figures.

S6 had the most practical Snake Eyes visor design too. Freaking miss this line. I don't think I have Shipwreck! Should've bought him and clear Hi Tech.

I never got a Muskrat(or was his name recondo?).The S6 design for the IG's were top-notch.They looked like scary ass shocktroopers.I have 4 keeping tabs on Destro.

Am i the only one who used the crimeboss destro as a stand in for Alexander? As soon as i get my camera back tomorrow,i'm posting some pics. This thread needs them.

Wow that shipwreck looks super awesome. I only have Toxic Zartan which is a awesome figure. I havent gotten further down the rabbit hole but Shipwreck with a monkey?!

Have you checked out Shipwrecks' awesome tattoos? The list of Joe womens' names down his arm is one of my favourite details.
The Adventure Team stuff at the end of the line is some of the best Joe stuff ever made! I would sell all my other Joe stuff before I sold my Sigmas. Every other action figure I pick up I open, look at, appreciate, and then stick on the shelf. With Sigmas I open it, then grab all my bags of extra accessories and sit on the sofa (the couch!) and optimise the gear each figure has. Going through bags of bits to find the right gear for them is so wicked. I've got a whole bunch of customs I've got to take pics of to show you guys! Like my Adventure Team series two!

That S6 stuff was really badass. I recently went searching through my stuff to find these in great condition and still awesome as ever. I did not buy everything, but I did buy a lot of the bigger names and not much past them. Marvel Legends and Star Wars took presidence over most of my collecting habits. Though I could not avoid the 8 inch goodness that was this line. Even for their price they were better than pretty much any other figure line. For $15 or even for $10 you were getting a bargain.

It is too bad Hasbro never released that Scarlett for S6. I was wanting to add her to the collection. A Baroness would have been awesome as well.

I think if the line had survived for two more waves it would have had lasting momentum, and still had it's place. The action battler 6" subline for the movie should have been Sigma figures. I'd join the collectors club if they had something to offer me, maybe even something I wouldn't paint over.

The Law and Order set would have been a welcome buy on site, as well as the VAMP

Shortfuse, Dusty, Wetsuit, Colton, Wreckingball and Zanzibar

Oh please, man, please! I want ALL those figures! I want them becausde I love Sigma scale, not because of any monetary worth. I collect Joe because it's awesome, not as some investment. That's why I open ALL MY TOYS!

I wish the club could get ahold of that Shortfuze mold.Out of everything that wasn't......he was the gem in there.

Shortfuze was definitely nice but the one I really want was that Joe Colton prototype with the f***king gorilla!!? That was AWESOME.

I would buy that one in a heartbeat....

OH HELL YEAH, MAN! Joe Colton for the win! Although I really want that shark and the shark cage too...And Dusty with that killer scorpion... I want to know who the pterodactyl was going to go with...

The black panther also looked slick, I would have paired it off with Baroness, the pterodactyl I heard someone mention Outback a gung-ho with ironfist's head, but that may have been just their idea

Outback? That's it...I'm crying...
Seriously, the best figures were at the end of the line. That's not detrimental to any of the other figures, they are all fantastic, but AT Recondo, Shockwave, Wetsuit, Dark Ninja Master... They just kick so much ass. I'd sell all my other Joe stuff before my Sigmas.

Lt. Faceless

Thats how i feel too.My Sigmas are going nowhere. The Dark ninja master is wicked cool. Once they lost the Sigma 6 title and went with ARAH the line was almost perfect.....then it got cancelled. I just wish we could have got atleast 1 female body.

The think i love about S6 is all it takes are small fixes to be badass.By fix i mean; missing that 1 piece of gear to make them perfect.Take Flint...shave off a little on bothsides(top) of his hair and still stick Lt. Stones berret and gun holster on him and he is perfect.I'll snap a pic....

Edit:Here are the pics....its the little things that changes everything.

Definitely a cool line. Too bad it had to appear at the expense of 3 3/4"; I'm sure it would have been better received by fans if both had been available at the same time.

I picked up SE, SS, Destro and Zartan. I wouldn't mind rounding out the team with a Duke (not sure which one), Shipwreck and CC at the least. Some of the others were pretty cool too.

I suggest the Black armor CC if you plan to add just 1.

Hmmmm the Best Duke possible - if we take our favorites from the line what do we come up with?

Sounds like fun - put your ideas HERE (http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-joe-sigma-6-toys/212929-i-want-see.html)

Thanks to MrBlitzer.Leatherneck,High-tech and Backblast are welcomed additions. All the Sigmas i have mentioned i've never had before.Thats were my delight comes from.Leatherneck is cool,i love the overall look of him.Nice big guy.Hightech is really fun(the one with the robot dog).I love how the hose can port into him and the robot. You get a nice upload/download vibe from it.

Backblast was a happy acidient.I got him to turn into a Big Boa(up till now BB was a black guy, only cause i only had the HD body).I think i'm happy with Backblast the way he is.I like having someone ot counter the big built of HD.

I remember buying a Sigma Strike Duke set for my daughter's friend's birthday a while back when Target had them on clearance. At the time I wasn't back into Joes at all. I thought it was pretty cool with all the accessories and weapons. In retrospect, I should have picked up whatever was left for myself.

Oh well, I'm probably better off not getting started on them. :D

I also forgot to ask....What is the purpose for Leatherneck's knife?I don't get the sliding/cover peice. The handle looks like it could slide onto a gun or something, but nothing LN came with.

Leatherneck or Grand Slam?

Lt. Faceless
05-19-2012, 10:41 AM
Leatherneck. There were 2 knifes in the bag.It would kinda make more sense if it did go with GS.Its a bigger knife, but the sliding part throws me off.

I also just found out about the way Grandslam(is it grandslam or backblast?)Boozoka ejects the shells out the back.I thought that was really neat.

Wierdly enough, the big knife with the blade cover thing on it fits perfectly on the back of Duke V1s' blue tac vest. Random...

I don't really care for S6 personaly, but I know a lot of people do. What I don't understand is why Hasbro doesn't just scrap their 12-inch line which never sells at retail, and replace that with S6. It would be neat if they made S6 version of some of the more popular ME figures, like Shock Viper, Lifeline, Sci-Fi, etc..

I honestly could care less about the "Sigma 6" aspect of the line , I mean for me its all about the toys. The best figures of the line were made after the Sigma 6 association ended anyhow.

Hasbro keeps ignoring questions about "Sigma 6" but all I want is the 8 inch scale figures back ! I couldnt care less if it were for the movie, ARAH revamp, Anniversary, Renegades or something entirely new. Or like your idea, scrap the 12 inch line and just release the same ideas in 8 inch scale. Adventure Team. ANYTHING! Heck i wouldnt even care if it wasnt GI JOE , just pick some gimmick and make the toys again!

I agree(of couse i do). Sigma 6 was fun,but after they went with the different classes. It really came into its own, sadly it was to late by then.I'd love to see the S6 scale come back. The 12 inch line is dead at retail.Sigma's didn't stay on the shelf for long around here.
