I am actually dissapointed in FLint it is just a repaint of Duke :( but at least the head sculpt is cool and I love that web gear, so I can use those on other fiures.

From the packaging pic, SE has full, rocker ankles, so I'm not sure what Blackman2005 is looking at.

Flint actually looks way better than earlier. At least, they fixed his head. And the webgear looks cool. I like the white parts on the inside of his arms. It helps break up his monotone color scheme.

I often wonder if things are designed that way on purpose by toy companies to inspire the purchase of both items rather than the one item thats clearly superior because it looks right.

Here's an official promo pic of the upcoming Road Retaliator Flint. I can't make up my mind as to whether this is a different head sculpt or the same head sculpt as the Ebay auction's viewed from a different angle.

If Hasbro follows its' usual movie-release patterns, the first two waves will be available at launch, with the 3rd following up around the time the actual movie hits.

Wave 2 may not "officially" be release-date product, but it almost always seems to happen that both waves hit at the same time with these kinds of launches, though a few places may not initially get the wave 2 assortment until later.

Or it's possible that (if they follow the "Avengers" pattern) one wave will be stocked heavily at Wal-Mart while another shows up at Target/TRU/etc...only to balance out later.

I don't know for sure, but I think the head sculpt is the actor's likeness and the body sculpt is just something Hasbro came up with for the figures (meaning that Flint probably won't have the same costume).

Yeah aside form this snake eyes and the wave 2 roadblock...none of the figures are movie accurate..liek that horid zartan..I hope we get a better one in wave 3, 4 and 5

Now that I htink about it, I'm also getting a bit tired of the same parts being on so many figures in the same waves...

Like Flint's webgear. How many figures from Retaliation is that being used on?

And of course the Renegades Storm Shadow body... that's being released what, like 7 times in this line? It's an awesome sculpt, but Hasbro is really pushing it on going cheap with this line. That's not even counting the lack of stands, filecards, articulation, paint apps, and dime store packaging.

I feel like there's only maybe 5 new sculpts in the whole line, with some part switching to make everyone else.

RoC all looked similar because they were all painted in the same colors, but they had an enormous amount of new sculpts. Ret all uses the same parts but paints them in all sorts of different colors to make them look different. I wish we could just get a more even handed approach.

I really hope things go back to normal after the movie. Ugh.

It fits pretty well on other heads, it just depends on the size since it's sculpted to form fit Falcon. It's a pretty nice piece. Well, better to know now rather than later eh?

Yeah.. the ziplines are fun, but it's not really necessary.

That flint looks a lot better than the one shown at toy fair, but I will still hold out on this line. I will have to improve that clutch figure, just like I am improving on the Colton figure before it comes out. Colton looks a little too buff for a Bruce Willis figure.

That flint has changed enough I am more interested. It actually looks like a totally different head sculpt and paint scheme. That removable beret may help me pull the trigger on him , maybe. I really like the idea of removable beret's, that why I can sit extra gear beside him and swap it out to make him more battle ready. (as in a cool a helmet)

Today I found some Retaliation figures at my local Toys R Us. I noticed the Cobra Commander was black like in the Amazon boxed set but the card art was still blue. I haven't seen any mention of this balck alt so was wondering if this was a known figure? Is it some TRU exclusive or a running change or have they changed the figure completely to black rather than blue? Anyway glad I didn't get the amazon pack because I got a blck CC now. Any info you guys can share would be helpfull.
