I'm giving my mom the oppurtunity to buy me some GI Joes. That way she can re-live the past when I was a little kid. Helping my mom to re-live the "good ole days" will be an excellent Mother's Day gift.

Now only if I can get her to buy into the idea...

Me and my brothers got some gift requests from Mom: Mine's a new handbag, Middle Bro is new shoes, and our youngest a new shirt. All already picked out by her. :)

your mother must be very happy to see your two brother's gift for her . as they are not just handbag gift , but more mean lover and thanksgivings for her.

Haha..no I'm a Dodger fan, so I don't have to worry about that. Only the visiting teams fans have to worry about that.

I'm going to drop off flowers at her work.

The bigger question is what are my kids getting their mom, which comes from my wallet, and she has certain expectations.

My mom is a Barbie collector so I assume its going to be a doll related gift.

Its not just about the stuff we would get her, we get to take her out on the town as a family, just like before we grew up and started having jobs.

Just like the way our mom indulged our desires growing up, Its now our turn to indulge hers. Me and my brothers are no good, when it comes to creative DIY lovey-dovey things, but she knows we love her. So we will show her our love the one way we know how, we give her what she wants with a gift card that has all our love for her.:-)

For Missy, can't say because she may read this. For my mom, can't say because I haven't thought of it yet.

I am doing a combined mothers/fathers day gift. I'm buying them a new 32" flat screen HD TV for their living room. I was out there late on Sunday and tried to watch some of Game of Thrones and the TV was so dark I couldn't see it. I couldn't even see the daytime scenes in the snowy white north of the wall parts.

UPDATE

My wife and I purchased the television last night at Best Buy.We got a Dynex 32" LCD flat screen with a swivel base/stand. We got it on sale for $199.99 marked down from $289.99. We also found out that my poor mom has to work from 1:00pm to 9:00pm today and tomorrow, and my dad is going to be out of town on fathers day. We are just going to go out there after 9:00pm tonight and give it to them then.

My wife is mad that I didn’t treat her like royalty on this mother’s day. She gets her Birthday and Valentine ’s Day, is she suppose to get this too?

I have the kids (6 years old and 1) get her a card and maybe a small gift and I also give her a card. Isn’t that enough?.......I’m guessing it must not be.
