With the way the cookie and creme storm shadow was done originally...they have yet to even remotely get close to redoing him POC style or doing him the right justice the figure deserves...or modern style or even whatever...this one looks pretty bad...

that tatt on roadblock is getting removed the second I open him..he IS NOT the ULTIMATE Ninja Commmando@ and never will be..I dont care what Paramount is trying to peddle/push here...not working on me lol...at least he has 2 normal hands....why all of them cant have normal hands..amirite?

I was thinking that was the Retaliation head at 1st too, but I'm not sure. The skirt is placed higher up the torso this time to free up leg articulation.

For anyone that was at Toy Fair, I heard the Invasion 3 pack Storm Shadow seemed like an ROC repack, like this one. Maybe it's possible that the Invasion 1 is actually a movie accurate one? From far away the ROC and Retaliation costumes for Storm Shadow share a very similar silhouette..

I will say that so far this is my favorite version of RB from the Retaliation line. The head looks a lot more like Dwayne than Emperor Ming from Flash Gordon.

And dare I say it... Ultra articulated ankles?

Also, it's good to see RB with a .50 cal!

They are ok looking. I am not going to bid on these, i have patience to wait. I dont like the ROC body on SS. RB is ok at least he has two normal hands and nothing permantley attached to it. I can live with the tatoo but like it has been said, it can be removed.

Amuptation(hotwater pop) and replace with the one wave 1 RB figure...and then hand swap = done...or people say number 2 pencil eraser works...still trying to figure that one out though...

He looks okay, but if you have Ret. Zartan, it looks like the same sculpt as that SS head. Which looks accurate to Retaliation. The only problem is they gave him a balloon head. So hopefully this Invasion 3 pack version we get is an all new, movie accurate sculpt. I like his web gear and the way they handled the camo.

Agreed. I think it looks fantastic, and the head sculpt looks more better here than wave 1 version. I'm glad the final figure the knife sheeth is on the proper side of his uniform. There were conflicting pictures from different sources so that's good. I can't wait to get this figure. I won't try getting him on ebay though, the prices are going to get get crazy.

What I don't get is why they didn't use the Renegades SS with some short sleeve arms to make a perfect '88 SS. It's not like they are against using that mold, seeing as though there are like five other figures using it.

Asia always gets the figures first as they are produced there, these are not out in the stores there, he probably got them directly from the production facility as he has previously sold pre-sampled figures.

Acetone aka nailpolish remover, but you have to be careful, it will melt the plastic if you don't do it right.

Goof off. You can remove a cobra log with that stuff so you should be able to remove ninja tats as well.

Hopefuly his arm underneath is not a different color :0 goof off could really end up "goofing" him up lol..i doubt it would be an unmodled skin color but with the cheapned stuff they have been doing...I wouldnt put it past em using OG green mold udner the skin paint lol...

To be honest, it's really hard to tell for sure, but it almost looks like the plastic black and the skin tone is paint. That would be pretty silly though, so I'm guessing it's skin tone colored plastic with the black part painted on.

Easy way to tell is to pull out the hand and see if the inner area is a flesh tone or a colored plastic/painted top.

That Storm Shadow is the only thing preventing me from ordering a wave 2 case... which comes with 2 of them! I liked the figure the first time around because while the articulation was totally gimped and it could barely move, it looked nice and pretty much movie accurate.

So now they are giving the same sculpt I already have and it is not at all movie accurate. Big letdown.

RB is a nice figure, but HATE the tat and the HUGE holsters. Also not crazy about the kneepads... the way they are painted completely throws off how the figure looks (though may of course be how they look in the movie).
