A couple days ago I was reflecting on how 2 Korean actors have taken on the roles of 2 famous Japanese characters.

I'm sure the bootlegs will hit the streets almost instantaneously. I'm really amazed with how they are kicking this movie off. It'll be here two weeks later. Props to SS, huge nod to your abilities and to your country. Yo Joe!!

Part of the excitement and draw of Joecon in New Orleans was that's the weekend it was supposed to be released. Given that part of it was filmed there, I envisioned a whole lot of hullabaloo and the actors being there and just good old fashion American awesomeness.

As if the shitty new figures and horrendous packaging wasn't enough to tarnish a fantastic GIJoe boost...now this?

I still believe the new movie is going to be awesome, but a world premier of the original real American Hero in Korea just makes me sad.

It happens. While it wasn't an official world premiere I remember Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Favreau came to the US Army base in Seoul for a free screening of the 1st Iron Man movie a week before it released Stateside. Tons of bootlegs on the streets within 48 hours and spoilers all over the message boards.

Chill out People Storm Shadow has got to get his fans excited too and plus its press. Doing this type of press only enhances the hype for the movie and since Storm Shadow is a key factor in this movie it only helps marketing and promotion think about it.
