dreadnok 7 pack fixes...

...finally got my Dreadnok pack today..all in all, great set of figs...


Zandar- decent fig, nice sculpt...replacing my custom
Zanya-same, lucked out and got good paint aps on the face...
Burnout-nice suprise, as i wasnt familiar with his character...good head sculpt..bonus that he hails from Catskill,Ny..about 15 minutes from here..
Gnaw -good enough to replace my custom...miss the warthog
Thrasher- ug. hes my favorite dreadnok,and i think hes dissapointing. Non threatening cace,and dumbed down shoulder and lower body sculpt...like my custom better...
Road Pig excellent fig, my 2nd favorite nok was done good...EXCEPT the lower legs.NO shin guards...so i replaced them, and added o.g.accessories..

Zanzibar...with a face that looks like Pedro from Napolean Dynamite, hes an ugly Nok..miss the hair...and his shirtless look stuck out to much...so keeping with the pirate theme, i made a vest outta Roc Drs overcoat...and i lowered the holster on his chest...

Here are some of my fixes.

Zanzibar: Like everyone else, i hated the bare chest, crappy harness look. So for to fix that I used an ROC Zartan vest modified. Cut the harness and added it to the vest in parts. Switched the knife sheath to the front where the holster was and put the holster where the knife was on the back. Added a sheath and shoulder belt from a PotC Zombie figure.

Thrasher: Only complaint i had about this figure was that he didn't have his signature glove. So I cut the post off that the hand connects to on the figure and hollowed out a Mutt glove and slide it over the arm. Easy fix.

Gnawgahyde Wip : Didn't like the head on this figure.. tried to like it, but just couldn't. But thankfully, I had a cast head and hat that i was planning to use for a custom of this figure before they announced they were making one. The skin tones match up.. so I really only have to paint the details and the hat.

the lower legs ARENT Road Pigs...Im not sure whos they are, just that I used them for my CUSTOM R.P. Theyre the SS wrist guards, sliced doewn the back and glued to the legs... Imo, thety look enough like the vintage... I WISH i was good enough to pop the R.P.s knee pads off and add them here, as the knees look slightly too small here...

btw, as for the Poad Pig wrist shield, i just popped off the Aligator Allery sign and popped the o.g. pad onto the handle frame...

I can see now, the lower legs are Destro's.. with the SS guards over them. My biggest complaint is that the knee are does look funny since RP had huge thighs.. then with your lower leg coverings.. he has large calves.. making his knees way too small. Problem with using the Destro lower leg is that he does not have the double knee joint.. so doing a simple knee swap is impossible.. so Unless you just cut the knee pad off of the RP knee and glue it onto the Destro knee area.. then swapping out the lower leg with one that does would be the next choice. Which is what i would suggest. Find a new lower leg.. swap out the knee and feet from the RP leg.. reglue those guards on the new lower leg and your done. LOL

(the ones that the blades push out of x2) and I cut the inner section
(keeping the outer part connected) so it would stretch around the road pig calf better.

is there anyone here who has found a better base body for "Gnaw"? i hate his skinny arms. so i switched out his head and vest over to thrashers body since there the same body mold with different arms.

I sculpted a vest for Zanzibar and added a pony tail. I also removed the holster and moved the knife to his chest.
