Actually Snake Eye's body & legs came from the 25th V3 (1989) Snake Eyes.

I was out of Joe collection when this version was released, but since I've been back into collecting and have seen pics, I've wondered if they were gonna do a re-release in the ME style. I actually like this version. I definitely wanna pick up this one!

Great pics. Thanks for the review.

This is a version of SE I was never into so I'll pass, but it's nice to see a decent figure at a decent price I hope.

This is a figure I didn't want until reading the later comics in TBP form. Now I can't wait for it.

Thanks bro!

I used to remember ages before when my kid brother had these, and we used to argue that its not really snakeeyes, its some lunky guy in a suit posing as snake eyes, and my friends made silly myths that theres a difference of SE being an stated a ninja and commando. Premise was all commandos had ninja training :P

oh well. those are 10 year olds talking :P

Nice review, bro! I just got this figure today. Slapped a blue-gray backpack and a submachine gun from the other figures and this ninja/commando is ready to dance w/ Cobras.
Cant wait for the green/black variant of this figure. Will dub him Jungle Snake Eyes. :)

Not bad at all. I had the 12" version of this one so it does bring back memories. If I was a huge SNAKE EYES fan I'd be all over it but I just don't need another version of him, even a good one.

Love this figure cept for his neck making him look like he was crushed...I used a POC COmmando SE upper torso to fix it (and get rid of that lame hole in his chest), now he stands tall and proud!

How did you remove the arms from the body?

The new upper torso looks so much better. My only disappointment with this figure was that he was so much shorter than the others.

The figure itself looks pretty neat, but I have no nostalgic connection to this design. This will probably be a pass for me, but I have to give Hasbro credit for making this design look so appealing.
