I have a problem with one of my Hurricanes. My daughter dropped it yesterday and while it went back together okay, the wings no longer stay in the horizontal position. I think the tabs inside the jet may have broken. I thought I read somewhere where someone had repaired them. Also the color is not as blue as it should be, is there any way to fix this? Also does anyone know where I can find some repro decals or a scan of a decal sheet? Thanx for any help.

The tabs can be repaired with some styrene and then painted blue.
I have tried serveral color restoring chemical solutions/processes and they dont seem to work well with colored plastics as well as they do with white.
With these two factors, you might be better off trying to find a better body.

Thanx Tolan. Would you have any idea the approximate size of the decal sheet?

I have an unused decal sheet waiting to go on my Hurricane. I measured it for you.
6 9/16" x 4 5/8"

Kay update. It looks like the pins are still attached (they are under the inboard rear missiles correct? They just look like they are worn down. I don't want to rebend them for fear of breaking them. So I am wondering would the clear nail polish trick for loose knees work on the "wheels" inside the wing?
