They are not all taller, at least not that much taller. The plastic doesn't seem any cheaper than POC/30th to me, in fact, it seems really nice on all of the figures I have. It's strong and dull like it should be. I think people need to stop being so critical and give these a chance. They are excellent figures.

There are 9 Dollar Generals within an hour of me... but none closer than half an hour away. These $6 figures will likely cost me $10 with gas factored in. So I'd take a preorder for these if I could.

There is a Family Dollar within 10 minutes of me though, so hopefully they get them in as well.

We are checking with our service provider now to assist with the flood of traffic. Last we checked nearly all 100 of the Red Ninja figures are sold. There was less than a dozen! I don't remember anohter either, but the database lists that one as "Ninja Duel"... I personally think that camo one is completely worthless and was hoping I had missed a better one. I do like the wave 1 Strom Shadow a lot though.

EDIT: I now see Kokomo is showing the picture of the camo SS as the wave 2 one... so at least they believe it's that one.

The wave 2 case is pretty sensible. Carries over the army builders and x2 of most of the new figures. I might get wave 1 in store and get a case of wave 2 online in case it's harder to find. Still thinking it over...

I don't know if it's anyone being "bad", prices on most everything are going up everywhere and if a company like Hasbro charges more per unit than a year ago, well, the effect continues down the chain.

Yes it sucks in an economy like this, but these are all luxury, unessential goods (at least to the rest of the world :)), so adjust accordingly.

TRU has the best online pricing of them all if you can't wait for lower prices in stores or don't have access to retail outlets. Single figs are $9.99 regardless of the figure, the three packs are 19.99 and vehicles are 15.99/21.99 which are less than Kokomo, bbts, smalljoes, etc with an exception here and there. If you order $100 worth, you get free shipping to boot. I'm sure you'll have to pay tax but it's better than paying shipping.

I'm going to patiently wait, these will probably start setting on the sales floor two to weeks early. All I want is a Joe trooper or two and the Ninja Cruiser wherever it drops as an exclusive. Oh, and the dollar store figures will be occupying my Joe dollars in the foreseeable future.
