I think the last time I inquired about this was a couple of years ago, wanted to see if any more news of these has come up anywhere.
There's a variation in the Bridge Layer lift arms. There's the standard 'H' style arm and a variant 'v' style arm. Only two of these have been confirmed so far. Mine and one that Krymsyngard666 had at the time (I don't know if he still has it).
Has anyone else turned up one of the 'v' style lift arms?

I have a few of both.
A good V is rarely out there.

I have the V style arm. Taking pic now. My Brother bought me this in 84 at TRU.

I've seen at least 2, mine and one that I found at Plastic Dreams like 10 years ago.

I never saw the V arm. Does it help with stability and not break as easy as the other one?

Yeah. Think if you had an H made of wood and you grabbed the two upper arms and pressed them together. They'll snap like twigs.
Now if you have those same wooden arms with a piece of metal shaped like a v, the wood would flex but the metal would provide stability to keep from snapping so easily while still giving them some freedom to move.

So depending on how many Tolan has that's still under 10.

I had heard Airdevon mention the variation of the Bridgelayer, I have to admit that looks like a much better idea than without the "V". My one doesn't have the "V" and is is good condition although I hate removing the Bridge section in fear of it breaking!

That is why mine is broke

Mine never broke when I was a kid playing with it. But I took it out of storage as an adult and it snapped easily and immediately. Maybe the plastic grew more brittle over the years.

The brazil version has the "V" version, so I'd assume that is the later design
2 of my 5 are the V style. Have never looked into the signifigance.

Mine is broken right where the arms are. I'm guessing it used to be the H style. Now its sit in a box style.
