I was painting some trim on 1 of my custom Sky Strikers, and brushed on some Model Master Flat Clear Acryl. Traces of the paint came onto my brush and I mixed it into the Clear Acryl bottle. The clear acryl now has a light tint. Is it possible to clean the acryl liquid itself? Or am I screwed?

I would try soaking it in simple green overnight.
It works when i mess up on a model kit.

If I'm understanding correctly, your jar of clear acrylic is now tainted with colored paint. The only way you can clean that out is to displace it by mixing in larger amounts of clear acrylic. However, it will likely take a LOT to displace it. I recommend buying a new jar.

What's simple green?

Yup my jar is somewhat tainted. Damn. Ah well, will probably buy another bottle.

It's sort of the same for bright yellows and whites.

yeah, my guess is a new bottle will be the easiest path.
No fixin that :)
I've had this happen, it's like the clear reactivated a dry paint coat and now your clear is "smudge".
Also had it happen when I used a brush for clear that had been previously used for red paint...the clear came out pink !
Keep the tainted stuff to make washes of whatever colors you want to make washes of.
Say 4-6 parts clear to 1 part any color (thinned)paint...
Depending on the color/shade of course.
