Steel Brigade Paint combo

Does anyone know a recipe for correctly paint matching Steel Brigade's light blue shirt and his tan pants? I put the legs from Ren Ripcord onto the upper body of the BeachHead that came with ROC Snarler and Motorcycle w sidecar. I am planning on using a head from the Resolute Beachhead. Also This is going to be my first figure I am painting. I bought a good assortment Testors model masters paints. I rubbed over the fig lightly with the emery cloth and took the shine off of him but I am open to any other painting tips that someone wants to give.

Just experiment with your paints, be careful with darker colors when mixing - always go with not enough and add a little more if needed.

I would still give this a thorough cleaning, soap/hot water or rubbing alc.
