I watched The Devil's Rejects a few weeks ago and I was wondering if it was worth watching House of 1000 Corpses.

Oh yes.. you should watch it. Why you watched it backwards is not good but oh well.

Since that's the first of the two, I'd say yes. =)

I recommend watching it, but other than featuring the same characters its nothing like Devil's Rejects.
um yes, even though the devils rejects is way better

You are high.
And wrong about that movie, too.

HOUSE OF A 1000 CORPSES is very surreal, while DEVIL'S REJECTS is horribly 'real'. I love both films and find it tough to pick a favourite simply because they're so utterly different in style. You don't really have to see either film to enjoy the other.
I would like to see Zombie revisit HOUSE, as it does give the impression of having had a lot of re-editing done to it, especially near the end. I'm sure I read that there were a few minutes trimmed and I'd like to see them restored.

I haven't seen HO1000C since it was released so I don't remember all of it but I do know I wasn't very impressed with it. Part of it reminded me alot of Texas Chainsaw 2. It also didn't help that the character of Otis not only reminded me of TCM2's Chop Top, it was played by the same actor Bill Moseley. That being said, I really enjoyed Devil's Rejects.
