I bet its when SS switches sides. Maybe he doesnt know he has the nanomites in him. Maybe he opposed like zartan did but somehow they got them in him and he found out and wants em out. Now he realizes he is playing for the wrong side.

I think he looks emotional in that shot, I too think this is where he switches sides, Nano bots sounds plausible he did seem to resent Zartan in the first film maybe this is where he has freed zartan but the other joes don't trust him, I can not wait to find out how this plays out now!!

I hated SS's look in the 1st movie but thought the man himslef was one of the better things the POS had to offer so I'm glad they are defecting him..back when I was little and into GI Joe he was only a villain for a short time as soon as the version 2 came out he was a joe in my world and stayed one until I stopped collecting.
so yeah that being said retaliation may have won me over with this move.

That would be cool with Zartan playing a large part in this movie and also with Firefly in it as well we could really see some great G I Joe history within this film!!

Could witness the second coming of Gi Joe... Can't think of another film where one of the main bad guys comes back as good.... Vader sort of did at the end.... But for a 'Bad guy' to change sides and actually fight head on with the old team as it were is pretty rare!

Imagine a sequel where we have SS and SE heading up an elite LRRP type team, would be awesome!

The nanomites are controlled by a kill switch. Maybe all the kill switches were in the underground ice lab and got destroyed at the end of RoC. Well except Zartan's. Would be funny to see his destroyed mid sentence though.

Storm Shadow didnt always wear a hood. He usually did for missions,etc but didnt always fight with one on. He doesnt go to kroger with it.
