What does one on-going mean? Just GI Joe? All I have been getting lately is GI Joe A Real American Hero. I hope that is still going to be published. I can't decide whether it is cool or gimicky that they are having one set at SDCC. I kinda like it though..

I hope "one on-going" means one for each continuity.
I'm enjoying the heck out of ARAH, and not reading the "modern" title, but I think they both deserve to continue. Multiple miniseries dilute the brand and story, tho - at $4 a pop, it's difficult to keep up with all this stuff, especially when you know there will be a collection the month after a story ends.
I guess I'm gonna have to get that Danger Girl crossover...

Couldn't have said it any better myself.

I guess Snake-Eyes REALLY wants that SDCC exclusive....

I have a feeling that ARAH is toast... which is just awful. The IDW mainline title is decent, but I just couldn't really get into it. Still, I'd bet money that they keep the latter.

I also only read ARAH. I pray they keep it going. It has been really good this last year...

Larry Hama said on Facebook that ARAH is not going anywhere.
Mike Costa has said he is not going anywhere either.
I have been eagerly waiting for the SDCC issue since when it was first announced.
It reminds me of the episode "My Brother's Keeper" where Sgt Slaughter and Sci Fi wind up at a convention.
The IDW series "Angel" did this convention concept as well and I loved it.

The only comic I read is ARAH--count me amongst the fans! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't kill it! As for the modern mag, I'd be more inclined to pick it up/read it if it WAS only one mag. I can't keep up with--nor does my pocketbook want to--3-4 different threads within the same Joe-verse (at least I think they are all inter-connected)...

I don't pick up the trades with any regularity so I tend to forget how long the list of monthly publications can be. It is interesting that they are announcing stream lining and a miniseries at the same time.

Taking a little break from four Joe titles a month will be nicer on my pocket book too. I've enjoyed both the Cobra Civil War and the resulting Cobra Command intertwining but it is time for a break.

ARAH is the only title I buy on a monthly basis, as well as a lot of other Joe fans I'm sure, so it would be a bad move on IDW's part to remove it from their lineup. Odds are they are referring to the "Snake Eyes" and "COBRA" titles when they mean 'streamline'.
Looking forward to the Danger Girl crossover though, that should be fun, although a little disappointed Campbell isn't illustrating the whole series, but he rarely does anything but covers these days.

I agree with the the majority of the above, I only read ARAH and it's the only thing that makes sense to even publish, but if they do go to one title, I would expect that they would keep the modern re-imagining stuff (unfortunately). The Hama run is the only real joe in my book, and yet it seems to be an afterthought in their game plan.

I hope that the artwork for classic volume 15 will be different. I also like ARAH, but I on;y buy the trades of it. Why are people here afraid that it will end? There aren't any indecations of that or are there?

I also only get the trades of ARAH, and even for those I'm a few behind. It's a pretty fun book and all, but I'm enjoying the modern stuff a LOT more. If you count all the trades than the stuff that's being put out really piles up.

Can someone who is on facebook please check out Hamas comment and post it here?

The only reason I don't buy ARAH is because I'm too far behind. I bought the series back in the 80's, at the beginning, but stopped collecting in the early 90's. I started the three new titles because they were just starting up (perfect timing, eh?) and had just got back interested in G.I. Joe. I got the TPB's of the Cobra stuff with Chuckles and am considering buying all the back issues some time soon. I hear ARAH is the shit, though...

I'm definitely I the minority here. I personally could care less about the ARAH series. For me it ended with the Devils Due run.
I love that there are multiple Joe books every month either way and I am sad to see any of them go, this includes transformers as well which I think had been putting out 2 really entertaining series every month.

I also could care less for the ARAH series. I only buy it because it's a Joe title and I buy all Joe books. Heck, I've even purchased G.I. Joe Infestations.
I can't wait for the DG/Joe crossover. And I finally get to read the last ten issues of ARAH, since I stopped buying G.I. Joe after the G.I.Joe/Transformer Gen 2 storyline.

I'm very thankful that IDW is trimming the line. I don't want ARAH to end but having 3 monthly books that all tie into each other and are must reads is a bit much. My wallet thanks this decision.

Same here. After the TF crossover I dropped the book so I'm so excited to finally read these.

IDW is not trimming the line.
I spoke directly with John Barber and it was confirmed with Dirk Wood (VP Of Marketing) who made the initial comments that everyone took the wrong way.
The twitter link in the news post reported it wrong.
IDW’s Streamlining Clarified « The Comixverse (http://thecomixverse.com/?p=37721)
The "streamlining" is to try to allieviate the confusion that having multiple titles can cause as well as being aware that they don't want to flood the market.

Hey can someone fill me in how and why Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow are sharing the title? They buddies again? I dropped off halfway thru Civil War.
