View Full Version : Questions Has anyone used Playmakers for their customs?

I was wondering if any of you have used the Playmakers baseball figures for your customs. I was thinking about getting one and cutting off and dremeling out the hat/helmet to use with Joes, but I'm so cheap that I don't wanna do it unless I am pretty sure it's gonna work. Have any of you tried this before? Are the figures about the same size/scale as Joes?

I used a Pujols for a Hard Ball and a Becket for Cutter. they look pretty sweet.

Got any pics? I was thinking of Pujols because I'm a long-time cards fan - thought it'd be cool to have a Cards helmet for my Joes.

Yeah, I bought a Beckett on clearance at TRU a couple of weeks ago to give Cutter his trademark "Sox" hat. Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I don't have pics of the Pujols head but it looks nothing like him after I was done. Ryan Howard, Derek Jeter, and Pujols were the only non white players that had ballcaps and Pujols was the only one without a goofy look on his face. Being a Reds fan, it took me awhile to convince myself to use that head.
