It has always bugged me that the CG use those revolvers, and it bugs me more the way they look on the ME figures. Has anyone replaced the revolvers with something else? Just shaved the pistol loop off of the leg? Done something else brilliant and creative?

I don't mind the pistols...but I do hate the holders so yeah if anybody has any replacement ideas for the holder that would be cool.

I just hold them onto the holsters using the small clear rubber bands, the way they do it on the TRU CG set, but yeah, I wish there was a better holster.

I bought a bunch of those shotguns for the very same purpose, but I could never figure out how to make them fit properly.

All I do now as I mentioned earlier is just use the elastics. This is how it looks.

I bought a bunch of those shotguns for the very same purpose, but I could never figure out how to make them fit properly.

It only takes a little bit of dremeling. Wider towards the front to fit the barrels and a minor amount towards the rear to fit the stock. I went slow and took a little at a time each time testing the shotguns fit so I didn't accidentally take out too much. I will find mine and post pics.

I dont mind the Revolver. Gives them a distinguised look. Hate the holster though. For sure.

I think I could get used to the pistol if the holster weren't so dumb. I love the .357 that Tunnel Rat came with and the revolver that Renegades Law has, but Tunnel Rat just doesn't have a place for his, and Law has a great holster. The leg loop doesn't smack of distinguishment to me.

Personally, like the pistol and rifle style but I do hate the "leg ring" too.

A couple things:

-If you hate the pistol, give them the one that came with Resolute CC*, looks really nice (actually, my Tomax/Xamot both have those guns and the short sabre)
-The big gun (Magnum?) from Croc master and Resolute Destro is a good replacement too.
-Cut the leg ring, and glue in place one of Wild Bill's holster, which are meant to fit those Colt pistols ;)

it's crude, but if you hack off the clip and hit it with a jungle viper holster it works okay.

The problem for me is the leg in general. There is no decent way of putting a holster on him. It might be better to just put the holster hanging from the belt.

I think the Revolvers are more for a "classy" look than real functionality. THat's the assualt rifle.
