And come on guys, only the vehicle drivers have lost articulation in the new movie line. Give it a chance.

Actually there are several single card figs that have lost articulation. Duke and CC for example have no ankle articulation.

WHAT IS EVERYONE TALKING ABOUT?! These are the new retaliation figures. They look fantastic. Hasbro has outdone themselves again. You know what this means? We have had these out for a while right? That means Hasbro was hiding these in plain sight for us to find easy, but we didn't notice them because of their ninja cloaking talents. It is just like what 30th SS did to us, and still likes to do with stores across the country.

I just read this article here about the J. I. Force toys and they are claiming that it "is not" a knock-off of G. I. Joe.
I saw this toy during my visit to Toy Kingdom in SM Makati and then I spotted this action figure with the label "J.I. Force", its not a GI JOE knock off toy or a figure copied from existing licensed action figure, I checked the figure and it has a nice plastic material, I didn't bought one but I just looked at it and see the detail of the toy, there are many version of this toy, and using the same head sculpt.
I started to wonder, if this toy maker can produce a nice mold and sculpt for the head and body, and resembles a westerner guy that look like RAMBO and other version that look like a from a SWAT Team and the most disturbing part is the title.... I just hope that J.I. acronym is not similar to the group of war makers that we usually hear and see on the news.
Here's the link:

Because he tried to imitate Bolo, apparently. The one that's missing is one of the black Bologangers.

China, where copyrights and patents go to die.
Actually you cannot put a patent of the human body, that is why the original GI Joe had a scar on the face and a fingernail on the wrong side of the thumb. Also that is why The Corps, PTE, True Heroes, BBi, etc do not have to pay royalties to HASBRO for making "Military Style" action figures. HASBRO has a copyright on the name "G.I. Joe" and the names of the products under that brand and that is it.
How is there a copyright violation here? These are not knock offs. The only thing that resembles anything GI Joe is the Snake Eyes mask. But seriously, any white ninja is a copy of Storm Shadow? And any Red Ninja is a copy of Cobra red ninjas? Isn't that the same thinking as "Predator is a Gi Joe movie"?
Forget that red and white are very generic colors. Plus these things are not even the same scale as current release Joes.
China makes these toys for people who cannot afford or refuse $10.00 per figure. And is meant to be a low-cost substitution for higher end, brand name military figures. The construction of it and design is a reflection of you get what you pay for.
And finally... Seriously? This deserved to be front paged?

To say this is not a direct KO of Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes is complete BS! You even said it yourself, that is the Snake Eyes head. And the Body is taken directly from Storm Shadow in design.
The KO version shown of Storm Shadow is the Sigma 6 Storm Shadow head, so yeah it's a direct KO, and Yes.... Seriously? It did need to be front paged if only to just piss you off.

How is it a direct knock off if it isn't the same scale, the same articulation, the same material? Hey it's a white ninja with red trim it must be storm shadow. So Joe fans will make the comparison. But those unfamiliar with the Joe mythos will see it's just a white ninja.
Seriously? It did need to be front paged if only to just piss you off.

But those unfamiliar with Joe won't recognize them as knockoffs because they unfamiliar with the brand. But those of us who know about Joe recognize the similarities immediately. They don't necessarily have to be the exact same scale to be knockoffs. You can look at them and clearly see the similarities, not exact copies but definitely similar.
