Needing help with creating a swamp Dio

I have acquired 2 Stinger Raiders (MISB) lately and kicking around the idea of creating a swamp dio for both SR's along with Croc Master and the Dreadnoks, but really dont know where to start? Like how big, what materials to use, it would be cool to use real water since the SR floats! but not required. Anyone have ideas or previous work they would like to share to help jump start this?
