Stuff like the entry on Bullhorn is just lazy writing. They take a guy that is a negotiator and say that they wouldn't want to be next to him in a fight. That's kind of like saying you wouldn't want a Navy SEAL to fly your fighter jets. Taking things out of context really doesn't equal comedy.

Okay, some of these filecard assessments were actually pretty funny. I especially liked Backblast, Copperhead, and Topside's....lol

Yeah, the ROC cards were sub-standard. The basic filecards were my only complaint of the otherwise stellar POC line.

Topside's file card is funny while Barbeque's file card is just creepy. He can stick the bottom of a pop glass bottle in his mouth. Wow LOL

A fun poke at some of the odd points in filecards...but I have to ask how does one compile that list and miss the Ninja Force Red Ninja card?

Its not that its not funny, is just that in order to create a punch line the author has to read more into it then is given to him by the material he is critisizing.

For example: Hit and Run, the punch line is that his name is "Hit and Run" and his parents were killed by a drunk driver, oh the irony!

Except no, its not ironic, its not even a punch line because nowhere on the filecard does it say the drunk driver then took off! If his codename was "D.U.I." then yes it would be appropriate.

He also makes a point that GI Joe recruited him from the orphanage.....where did he get that information? All the filecard says was that he used to run away from the orphanage and eventually joined the Joes. The context of time in between the events is not given. The author here simply insists his conclusion to be a fact when its not.

Its just terrible writing.
