Are You A Sideshow Collectible Completist?

I don't see many discussions as far as the Sideshow Collectibles are concerned and was just curious on how many people are completists like me and have all the Sideshow Collectibles released (including the exclusives even though some didn't come as exclusives). If so, which ones do you have and where did you go to purchase them, what troubles have you had to get the ones you needed. I myself have all of them except 2 of them are not the exclusives since I started collecting a little after the first one (Snake Eyes) was released, never had any problems getting any of these though:

I was with the Star Wars line, but had to drop the line and sold all the fig's I had at the time(had the first 20 fig's they relesed including SDCC Exclusives). Then when SS got the Joe License, I came back to SS, but now only get the ones I want, which so far is Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Stalker, and the Red Ninja, and the 2nd SE on preorder. But if I could afford it, I would be a completeist with the Joe line.

I actually had all the 25th anniversary, ROC, and POC 3 3/4" figures (including vehicle drivers) and had to sell them for 1. to make space in my house, and 2. to get the money to purchase the ones I had to get off of eBay. Now that I am all caught up it makes it easier to get the newly released figures since the older ones are so expensive on eBay. I was tired of collecting the smaller 3 3/4" figures since there were so many versions, not to mention the fact that I am a completist and wanted every version (my own personal demons). I agree with you that the joe line is outstanding.

I've gotten everyone except for the ones I felt I could skip.

I skipped Red Cobra Commander, Desert Trooper, Desert Officer, Ninja Viper, and Black ninja... got all the rest though.

Even troop built the cobra trooper for a small unit. 4 cobra troopers, 1 sniper, and 1 officer.

Came in to the line with Firefly...have not had the chance to go back and pick up previous releases due to too much stuff coming out. I do have all exclusives (Firefly, Beachhead, Dusty, Hawk, Viper, Stalker and RnR).

Have all of them , all exclusives except for Duke. All were preordered from Sideshow.

Stopped getting the environments after the desert one due to lack of shelf space.

Definitely recommend Firefly and Beachhead (two of the best made so far for me) and then followed up by Dusty and Rock N Roll

My least favorite in the line would have to be Hawk, never really liked the character and kind of boring, Firefly, Beachhead, and Dusty are the good ones, especially Zartan coming out, he will be a home run for sure

I for one love the ninjas they are releasing, I sure wish they could find some way to incorporate a camouflage ninja in the mix somehow, the same kind of pattern as Firefly's outfit but with the woodland colors, that would be awesome

i have every single one but only have the Rock N Roll exclusive the rest are the normal ones. I have Black Ninja on order, Crimson Guard, and Zartan. But the Snake Eyes with Timber may be the 1st one I don't get.

I am on the fence as well with this one, I did pre-order it but may not get it due to how lousy it looks. Don't get me wrong, Timber is awesome but Snake Eyes just looks really lousy to me, this may be the first one I actually pass up on since I already have a Snake Eyes, I will definitely not miss out on Zartan, can't wait until mine gets to me.

I agree with you 100%. Also the $200 plus $12 shipping plus $15 in tax is a real bummer. Brings the total for me to $227 and at that price I would rather get 2 more Desert Ops Snipers instead of 1 Snake Eyes with Timber.

I don't think I'll be a completist, as I likely will never get all the exclusives for one. Not to mention I'm not keen on either version of the Cobra Commander, so don't have CC still waiting on the silver face plate CC, then to many troopers, snipers, and officers. I have a normal cobra trooper, and one day I may get a desert trooper or officer, but don't like the red masked officer, or black suit sniper, so cross those off the to buy list, dioramas way to expensive I can barely afford keeping up with the dolls, i'll make my own dioramas. All though I do like the desert one. And snake eyes V2 is likely to be canceled, I have the first one, and its way better IMO, and hard to justify $200 for a timber wolve, if I did buy it, i'd part him out. Still undecided on the Crimson Guard as well, and I'm still trying to catch up on a few of the joes I missed. So far I have in order in which I recieved them-
