And I wouldn't say 'hostage'. More like human shield. If this is the rumored prison break scene, then he's probably using the guard as a shield while mowing down other guards.

I think it is a new outift,cause when he fell into the icey water in TROC,he had no top on.

I also beleive the hostige is really a Cobra Trooper in another uniform, and SS is using him as a sheild to fight Cobra who betrayed him,cause I think SS finds out that Zartan was the one who killed his uncle the hard master, and escaped with some help from Cobra years ago.

One of the few things I liked about Rise of Cobra was that they killed off Storm Shadow I figured that saved us from, what I figured, would be the obligatory over use of Ninjas.
Each time I see a Storm Shadow image I realize that if this movie is successful than each subsequent film is basically going to be a Ninja palooza.
However hopefully we'll get some good toys and the occasional relevant figure.

Storm Shadow has used a gun several times, just chooses not to most of the time.

Once in San Fransisco in a comic where he shot at Zartan and some Red Ninjas (not the silent issue), he used a G36 to cut a line on a bridge I think.

Im not big on him using a gun. never have been as far as ninjas are concerned. Asfar as him taking the guy hostage ninjas do whatever is possible to take out their targets and do their mission so doesnt really bother me guess you could say the same thing about the gun but I dont like it.

Thats not a hostage, its a human shield? I mean when people are shooting at you as you break out of a prison, what better way to live then have them put the bullets into one of thier own lol...its not like he just decided to go into the joint to taker a hostage on purpose ya know...he wants out, and noe one is gonna stop him.

Whole the real ss figures evrything out and snake eyes goes to fight him at the temple not aware its the real ss hence se and jinx repelling with you what appers to be a body bag with the real ss in it, i think he will become a joe is retaliation but get brainwashed again at the end, pluss i thnk in the lab scene he tries to kill as many of the clones as he can.

Intersting idea, but that was Star Wras Episode 2 out on some planet called Camino...so maybe the El Camino in the Retaliaiton movie is a hint at your clone ninja theory!

The Nanomites were not a cloning technique. Just little bugs running around inside you. So why woudl they need to clone any of them? CC is still alive, Zartan is the president under nanomite facial reconstructions. Thing is we don tknow if the nanomites were injected into Storm Shadow or not, i dont recall him having them, though it will need to be implied to expalin how he survived the plunge in one of the most deadly water envirionments you could possible imagine being pushed into barley clothed. We still have yet to see if naomites evern carry over to the new movie at any rate.

Don't mean to rain on anyone's parade but...

When we last left our heroes. Destro and CC were imprisoned where? On the USS FLAGG. If that is where they are in stasis, I would expect SS to be wet on arrival to the ship. He has infiltrated the Flagg 2x before (resolute comic book and resolute series). If you recall te scenes from one of the first trailers, he releases some exploding ninja balls to. Help free CC. He seems a little more prepared for a rescue attempt than someone who just escaped from stasis. Also if he too was in stasis, how does he get out to begin with??
I think that's his new suit. Notice the silver stripes on the sleeve, the zipper and Velcro on the forearm. Also notice the lacing on the upper arm. Kinda hard to believe "stasis suits" would have lacing?

My point was they were working with nano tech and who know what else, its just my theroy, there was a point in roc where rex or cc worked with mindbender, so who to say there was more advanced tech we didnt see, the docter was ranting about changing the world with his "discoveries "

I'm almost positive it's just like the stasis suit that Cobra Commander is in. Compare the following parts of the outfits in the two images below: the same gloves, the same velcro straps at the wrists, the thing above the elbow (looks like SS's has been torn off), and the same panel in the middle of the chest. Just my opinion, but I just don't think it could be Storm Shadow's new costume.

Dont you think he could have either gotten wet when a statis tube broke splashing him with water or maybe when scientist were doing something like looking at his brain,etc to cc/destro/whoever he got into the facility acting like a doctor, guard,etc and switched places with cc so now he is the one wearing the suit. As cc is exscaping and they are putting "cc" back storm shadow "comes alive" and starts whooping ass for he can escape.

Sgt. Humpty and scarecrow are spot on! This is the stasis suit. You can tell by the position and pattern and buckles on the shirt. From what I gather from the trailer Firefly launches an attack on the prison where the Cobra Command are being held in stasis chambers (rocket bike scene and rolling explosives scene). I think Stormy then helps break Cobra Commander out of one of the other stasis chambers and you then see them leaving together, CC still in full stasis suit... can't show his face obviously!

Why was there any doubt? At the 1:36 mark of the official trailer you see SS open his eyes underwater and is wearing the same white collar as seen here.
